This charming property offers a comfortable, relaxing holiday set amidst striking scenery. It is a short distance from ski slopes in winter and watersports in summer. Ground floor has large open plan living/dining area with french windows onto a wide balcony with spectacular mountain views. Large sofas, soft lighting, TV, DVD player. There is a well equiped kitchen for self catering. Settings for eight people. Filter coffee maker, fridge/freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher. Mountain views from all windows. Large double bedroom on ground floor with king size bed. A Toilet with wash basin is inside the front door. First floor has three bedrooms, one with bunk beds, one with two single beds and one with a double bed. Two upstairs rooms have balconies. All bedrooms have mountain views. There is a spacious first floor bathroom with separate shower. The basement has a utility area with washing machine. Heated boot room for skis and boots. Shower room with toilet. Large garage.

Beautiful mountain chalet situated in the Aravis range of the French Alps. Five minutes drive from the medieval town of Thones, dominated by its' 15th century church. This quiet, unspoilt town has a weekly Saturday market selling an extensive range of goods from handbags and jewellery to Reblochon cheese which is produced here. Stunning alpine scenery surrounds the area. Summer here offers walking, camping, mountain biking, swimming, cycling, fishing, horse riding, go-karting, paragliding, water-skiing, golfing, canyoning or just relaxing in the fresh mountain air. Twenty minutes by car is beautiful Annecy, interlaced by canals flowing into a stunning lake surrounded by mountain peaks. In winter, it's perfect for skiing, being 10 minutes by car from La Clusaz - ideal for all levels of skiers with 132km pistes spread over 5 inter linking mountains. Spring offers alpine meadows full of colour and Autumn is an ideal time to hike the mountains amidst changing colours of red to gold.

Ski: This comfortable, alpine chalet surrounded on all sides by mountain scenery is 10 minutes drive from the ski resort of La Clusaz. This ski resort is not so highly developed as some of the other resorts which have gone before, therefore it offers a good range of ski opportunities in a less crowded atmosphere. Here there are 132km of ski pistes spread over 5 interlinkling mountains. There are slopes for all standards and ages with an extensive range of blue, red and black slopes and opportunity to ski off piste. There are a selection of ski schools. Mountain restaurants are scattered over the slopes offering much appreciated rest with outlooks over most amazing scenery. La Clusaz is a pretty town plentiful in mountain bars and reataurants, all of very high standard, offering food and drinks at reasonable prices.

Other Activities: 20 min drive to water skiing, wind surfing, sailing, wake boarding

The chalet was very easy to find and first impressions on arrival were excellent! The chalet is beautifully situated in a small, charming village,the views on all sides are stunning. Evenings on the balcony were a real treat.The chalet itself is well maintained and equiped, clean and of an overall high standard. Kitchen facilities are high class, providing all mod cons.What a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful place.
Surrounding the chalet there is easy access to excellent walks in the mountains and some shops, including a bakery, are also within walking distance. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful.
The nearby small town of Thones is delightful with a great market, a good Carrefour with petrol facilities and some nice restaurants.
We had a really marvellous week in this lovely chalet that is so well situated that we were able to visit some truly beautiful alpine areas. Make sure you go to La Clusaz and up to Beauregard in the cable car.Spectacular.
Thanks to the owners for a wonderful, restful week.We will certainly be recommending the chalet to others and hoopefully revisiting soon.

Just returned from a blissful week in the Alps, staying in this beautiful, extremely well presented and modern chalet. All the space and mod cons one could require from a holiday rental, with amazing views situated in one of the most beautiful areas of France that we have had the pleasure of visiting.
The neighbors and locals were extremely helpful and friendly and this all added up to a lovely holiday.
A highly recommended chalet rental and area to visit, very helpful owners and I can say with certainty that when we return to the area we will be looking to rent this fantastic chalet again without hesitation.
