Eastbourne holiday house: Normans Bay

What can we say: you got what it said in the details plus a whole lot more!
The house was lovely and clean and the location was ideal.

We wished we could have stayed the whole summer. Will try and stay again next year.

Myself & three friends stayed in this cottage and it was the most relaxed, chilled out minibreak i have ever had!

The cottage is incredibly spacious with all of the four bedrooms very generous in size, even the single room. It was spotlessly clean with a homely feel from the second you walked in the door.

Eating out wasn't an option for us as cooking in a kitchen with a view such as this one had was not to be missed and with the lounge and conversatory (which overlooking the beach, it was a struggle to drag ourselves away from the property to do a bit of sight-seeing!

Eastbourne was a short drive away although the station was only a short walk away so we could've have got a train. We also took a walk to the local pub which was about 10 minutes away but going via the beach and across the fields made it a very pleasant stroll.

Jason was there to welcome us in and run through a few bits which was nice. Also the groceries left in the fridge were a very pleasant surprise as were the little touches such as the flowers and the provision of tea-towels and such like which is not normally something rental owners provide.

Stepping out into the garden and watching the sun rise and the tide ebb & flow was fantastic and I only wish I could have my morning cuppa like that every day! And although the windy was a little chilly, it was lovely just to sit in the garden and listen to the sea and the birds without the noise and distractions of urban life intruding.

I have already recommended it to everyone I speak to and we will definitely be booking up to come again....every weekend if I had my way!

What a fantastic place! Jason couldn't have been more helpful and how lovely to have a bottle of wine and other provisions left for us. The house is so well-equipped and really spacious.

It was a pleasure to cook in the kitchen with the view of the beach and sea and then to eat in the conservatory. We even managed to get the deckchairs out as the weather was great for April.

Everybody we met in the area were so friendly - it really is a relaxing place to be with fabulous walks along the beach. The main bedroom has such a wonderful view to wake up to.

Jason's recommendations for restaurants etc. were really useful - the Pomodoro Mozzarella in Eastbourne was so good we went there twice in the four days.

We would certainly recommend the house to others and in fact a friend has asked for the details already.
