This lovely cottage is set amongst olive groves in a quiet rural location with views towards the mountains and is ideal for couples who want to get away from it all. This air conditioned detached cottage has a comfortable double bedroom, separate lounge with two sofas tv/dvd player and stereo leading onto a fully equipped kitchen with full sized cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, toaster, kettle, steam iron,ironing board, cutlery and crockery, bathroom with shower, wash basin, WC, hair dryer. All Linen and towels supplied for the cottage. Private veranda with dining table and chairs, BBQ, nice sized pool, sunbeds and a shaded gazebo area. Windows fitted with mosquito nets together with locking shutters for added security. 4 minutes by car (approx 20min walk) from the nearest beach and resort of Agios Stostis. Car rental can be arranged at reasonable prices. Internet access available. English owners close by to advise on best places to visit.

Sample the real Zante away from it all in a quiet rural village just below the mountains with your own relaxing private pool set amongst olive groves. Supermarket, local bakery (where you can buy fresh bread every day) and several family run tavernas are all within walking distance. Take a walk in the mountains or visit the emu farm just 4km away on the main road to Keri. Shops, lively bars, a choice of restaurants serving a wide range of food, ATMs and a 9 km long sandy beach are 4 minutes away by car. Stroll on the beach at Kalamaki where in the summer months you can see the loggerhead turtles swimming in the crystal clear waters. Zakynthos is famous for loggerhead turtles and their continued protection within the National Marine Park. We are situated in the south of the island 6 km from the airport, 3km from Agios Stostis, 7km from Kalamaki and 8km from Zakynthos (Zante) Town and Bochali Hill with its stunning views over the harbour and Vasilicos peninsular.

  • The property is very easy to find from Zakynthos airport however for that personal touch, if required, someone will meet you at the airport or ferry port to help you with your transportation needs. Owners will be available for any advice or questions you may have. You also have a welcome pack of water, milk, fresh bread, butter, jam, tea, coffee white wine and red wine included in the price to get you started (provided for weekly plus rentals only)
    Special requests for that special birthday or anniversary such as champagne, chocolates or flowers can be arranged as long as they are booked a few days in advance.

  • 15% deposit required for each booking - the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival. Monies to be paid directly into a designated bank account, you can pay by cheque, bankers draft or direct bank to bank transfer. A refundable security deposit of 100 euros will be required on arrival at the property.
  • An attractive discount is available for bookings made before the end of March 2010

There is a new schriber fitted kitchen in the cottage with a large fridge/freezer , a 4 ring electric cooker which has a full sized oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven dishes, pots, pans etc and more than enough cultery and china for 6 people. Steam iron and ironing board, table cloths, napkins and all the comforts that you would usually have in your own home. We also provide cool blocks and a cool bag for you to take to the beach.

The villa exceeded our expectations. It was in a quiet location but easily accessible from the airport. Everything you could need for a comfortable stay was provided and it was lovely having air-conditioning and our own pool. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Gordon and Chrissie were the perfect hosts.

cottage and pool ideal for a couple far away from the madding crowds was lovely and clean with plenty of outside space for lounging thanks to chrissy and gordon who were very helpful and friendly in everyway. looking forward to coming back again.

We love the cottage, it's spotless and so was the pool, obviously well looked after. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and having the pool to ourselves was bliss. It's really peaceful here and if you want nightlife it's all in Lagana a few minutes drive away. The beach is nearby too if you get bored of the pool! There's all you need here for a relaxing break. The owners are really helpful and left loads of advice on sights to see and trips to take. We loved it so much we have already booked to come back again!

We found the cottage very clean, well maintained and comfortable with all the amenities that you would need.Chrissy and Gordon made us feel very welcome. The Island hosts some off the most breathtaking views we have ever seen.There were lots of inexpensive restauants.The beaches were clean with nice clear waters.We will definatley be going back for another holiday.

Lovely cottage in perfect paradise, surrounded by olive trees. Clean, well equipped with all the mod cons. Excellent attention to detail. Kind and helpful owners with good recommendations for beaches, restaurants and local excursions. Happily recommend this property to anyone who want to relax in beautiful surroundings, with independence, comfort and a pool! Have already booked our next visit. Zante is a stunning island, flowers everywhere and the natives are friendly.
