„La Farigoule“ is a luxury 4 bedroom/3 bathroom villa, located in a quiet and peaceful area on the hill of Castellaras between Mougins and Valbonne. Set within a mature fruit and olive garden with 3000m2 of terraced land it gives breath-taking views over the beautiful landscape, the village and up to the sparkling lights of Grasse at night. A large free shaped pool with comfortable steps and pool alarm is placed right under the main terrace. The villa has been recently renovated to a superb standard with luxury bathrooms and a beautiful kitchen. The house is decorated and furnished with natural stones, antiques and light colours.The living/dining area with fireplace and french doors opening to a large terrace, is facing west. From the garden you have direct access over a private bridge to the famous hiking/jogging trail „Canal du Siagne“. Different trails with stunning seaviews from the bay of Cannes up to the hills are accessible from the property. Absolute quiet and with no insight.

The chateau du Castellaras is within a short walking distance and the beautiful old villages of Mougins and Valbonne with their lively weekly markets are only minutes away. You have easy access to the 'Penetrante' between Cannes and Grasse wich also leads to the motorway (A8).You could also go by train from Mouans Sartoux to Cannes and Grasse. Explore the beautiful sights along the routes towards Saint Tropez and Marseille, as well as Nice, Menton or Monte Carlo. Visit the marina ports of Antibes, Nice or Cannes or one of the many galeries and museums in the area. Although the villla is located in a peaceful green area with spectacular views, you are close to amenities. Away from the main tourist routes you are still so close to the beaches that you can see the sea-gulls passing over the villa.

  • Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency. Notes to the rental rates: The property is let on a weekly basis and commences usually on a Sunday at 4pm. If you need a different arrival date please call us 0033 661 029 810. We try to be very flexible due to cheaper flight rates. Arrivals should be between 4pm and 9pm. A surcharge will be charged for arrival after 9pm. The rental ends at 10am on the last day, when the property must be vacated. Prices include bed linen and bath towels. Price also includes garden- and pool maintenance. From two weeks on one cleaning per week (3 h)is also included. A housekeeper is available at an hourly rate payable locally to book in advance and to pay directly. Minimum stay in summer is 2 weeks.
    A damage deposit of 2000€ is required.

Location: The property is ideally situated 15 minutes from the coast. It is close to the old city of Mougins (6 minutes), Valbonne (8 minutes), Opio, Chateauneuf, all with local shops, bars, restaurants and lively weekly markets. Thanks to great road links it is only 20 minutes to Nice Airport. It is close to golf courses and the charming neighbouring villages of Grasse, Valbonne, St Paul de Vence, and Biot to name just a few. It is easy from here to explore the coastal highlights of St Tropez, Cannes and Monaco. The medieval village of Mougins is well known for its winding pedestrian streets filled with art galleries and over a dozen excellent restaurants. Pablo Picasso chose to spend his last 15 years here, and in more recent times, the Michelin starred Moulin de Mougins and the 5 star Mas Candille have cemented Mougins` reputation.
