Rare in central Paris: very quiet and bright 36m² apartment with 1 bedroom and 1 living room completely renovated. On 7th and last floor (with lifht to the 6th floor) Large west facing terrace (18m2) overlooking the roof tops of Paris. Ideal for romantic dinners (no vis a vis) Possibility of 4 sleeps: Queen size bed in bedroom and convertible sofa bed for 2 in the living room. Large TV screen, internet access. Kitchen and Bathroom (with bath) fully equipped. Easy acces by metro or bus to main tourist sites (Montmartre, Opera, Grands Magasins, Louvre, ...and also to major business centers as La Defense or Le Parc des Expositions de Villepinte) Plenty of restaurants and nice food stores in the neighbourhood (rue des Moines, rue Lemercier) Close to the famous open market 'Marché des Batignolles' and the charming Parc des Batignolles. Possibility to rent a parking place nearby. Eurostar railway station: 7 mn and CDG airport: 30 mns

A security deposit of € 300 will be required as a deposit against breakages, loss of keys etc. This security deposit will be refunded on return of the apartment keys to us if no damage

Cozy and quiet

Staying in a capital can be very noisy and it can be hard to sleep because of the noise from the traffic. So it was fantastic to stay in this apartment which we found quiet even with a window open. We also enjoyed the view over the roofs and the skyline when the sun went down. The apartment is furnished in a tasteful way and the owner is very friendly. You find many cozy French cafes, brasseries and restaurants in area around the apartment and it is easy to find an indoor marked and other shopping possibilities. You can walk to Montmartre and the Metro is only 5 minutes away. We stayed with our two teenagers - it was possible. We would like to come back the two of us.

Wonderful week in Paris

We had a fabulous week at the apartment, it was everything we expected (and more). The accommodation and facilities were of a very high standard and made our stay that much better. We enjoyed eating breakfast (fresh bread and pastries bought fron the local shops) on the balcony each morning.
The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable and our two boys (aged 12 & 14) found the sofa bed perfect for a good nights sleep.
The location of the apartment was ideal for visiting all the tourist sites and we would certainly recommend it to friends and family.

Just returned from a wonderful 3 day holiday in Paris at this fabby apartment. We sat out every afternoon with a glass of wine after wandering the sights in the morning. What more could we ask for? Well worth a visit as the apartment is very well situated to get around Paris as on good bus and metro route but if you like walking, everything is reachable, even Montparnasse Tower!

Heaven in the 17th

My wife and I stayed July 11-18, 2009. This is a wonderful apartment. The patio is very romantic and has a great view. Montmarte is a 15 minute walk. The metro is a 5 minute walk; the closest stop is La Fourche. It is a quick trip to the Seine and all of the sites in Paris.

Claire (the owner) met us on Saturday: she is wonderful and will tell you all about the neighborhood, which is great.

This was our first trip to Paris: Claire, Francois and 5 rue their apartment made it perfect!

Terrace and location

Comfortable, clean, well-equipped, quiet and an agreeable place to be after a long day’s sightseeing! The large west-facing terrace overlooking the rooftops was a wonderful asset as we had such lovely weather. The shops in the nearby Rue des Moines were excellent, especially the market (with its own wine merchant), the cheese shop and that wonderful bakery, Damiani. The park at the end of the Rue des Moines is also worth a walk for its lake and wild fowl. Easy access to metro and buses for anywhere in Paris and beyond. Excellent customer service. We definitely intend returning to this apartment. Sue & Henry
