Admiral Cottage is a luxury well equipped cottage with quality furnishings and state of the art kitchen and bathroom. It is the ideal self catering cottage for a luxury family break, or celebration. During 2007 the cottage has undergone a major refurbishment and the interior has been beautifully designed to provide a very special holiday experience. With lots of extra touches your stay at Admiral Cottage will be one you will talk about and remember for a long time. The Cottage is Victorian and is situated in the delightful village of Meads, on the outskirts of Eastbourne just a few hundred yards from the seafront. It comprises of a living room with through dining room, kitchen and a luxury bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower. There are two bedrooms, one double, one twin and a sofa bed in the living room. The living room has a digital flat screen TV with DVD and CD players.The cottage can accommodate up to six people. Outside is a superb courtyard garden.

Admiral Cottage is close to the seafront, the South Downs and Beachy Head. It is ideally placed for visiting Eastbourne's International Tennis, and Airbourne display. There is beautiful surrounding countryside and villages to explore by car or on foot and the city of Brighton is only 20 miles away. London can be reached by train in 90 minutes. The area boasts a wealth of sporting and cultural events including the International Tennis Championships and world class opera at Glyndebourne.There are numerous gardens and historic buildings to explore or a majestic seafront on which to relax and enjoy the elegance of Eastbourne's Victorian splendor. Eastbourne's three theaters and cultural centre are within 1 mile of the cottage. There are numerous events for children including Drusilla's zoo, the scientific center at Hurstmonceux Castle, and Eastbourne's Fort Fun.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Admiral Cottage is available all year and short breaks of three nights or more are offered in Low and Mid seasons.
    WIFI Internet connestion is available at a charge of £15 per week
  • A deposit of £100 per week is required to secure the booking with the balance payable four weeks prior to the holiday. If a holiday is can celled with less than four weeks notice the deposit is not refundable.
  • The Cottage is available from 2pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure.

All rooms in the cottage are carpeted and there is a good range of wardrobes, cupboards and drawers.A hair dryer is provided for the use of our guests.

We stayed in this cottage for 4 weeks from end of March 2009. It was a really phantastic place. We found everything as in the description. The house was clean and cosy. The service was excellent. Fresh linen and towels every week, together with a bunch of flowers. What is quite unusual for a selfcatering accommodation: it was quiet and peaceful, situated in a good residental neighbourhood with two pubs nearby and an excellent but affordable restaurant (judged best restaurant in Eastbourne by local newspaper). We can wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Wonderful cottage, well equipped, very nice decorated even with fresh flowers in the kitchen and living room. Very much space for the family. Close to the seafront, pubs and shops in walking distance. Very nice contact to the owner, thanks a lot!
