Pr Peku apartment is spacious and maintains traditional features. In the lounge, there is an authentic 'Farmer's Pec' stove which provides cosy seating in the winter and a centre piece all year round. There is open plan living accommodation with a fully equipped kitchen, through a dining room with traditional pine settle to the living room. There are two,large double sized bedrooms, one with a sink. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and three quarter sized bath. Outside there is a garden with barbecue and stunning views up the valley, there is also a storage out building for fishing, skiing, cycling equipment or buggy. Being on the edge of the awesome Triglav National Park, there is a multitude of activities available locally, skiing and snow shoeing, cycling, fly fishing, rafting, hiking, climbing and horse riding. Mojstrana is a well served village with a ski slope and tennis club. Our prices do not increase in school holidays because our pricing structure reflects our heating costs

Mojstrana lies at the edge of the Triglav National Park, fifteen minutes from both Lake Bled or Kranjska Gora. The National Park provides a wealth of activities and sights to see, from the serene Lakes of Bled and Bohinj, the awesome mountain pass of Vrsic, spectacular waterfalls, snowy peaks with skiing and snow shoeing in the winter, endless hiking and climbing opportunities on the limestone peaks and crystal clear rivers providing great fly fishing and water sports. Mojstrana is only forty minutes from Ljubljana Airport and an hour to the centre of the charming capital itself. Mojstrana has a good range of facilities; tennis, supermarket, pizzeria, ski slope, post office and tourist information and all other shopping needs can be met 5km away in Jesenice, or in Bled, Kranjska Gora or the city of Kranj offers several shopping centres and an old city to enjoy. There are waterparks at Bohinj and Bled and in 2 hours you can be at the coast or at the spectacular limestone caves

Skiing: Mojstrana has a flood lit slope and Kranjska Gora is only 15-20 minutes away with it's World Cup Salom run. We are within one hour of a variety of Slovenian, Austrian and Italian ski resorts: Kranjska Gora, Vogel and Krvavec in Slovenia; Nassfeld and Gerlitzen in Austria and Tarvisio in Italy. There is a great ski pass available from Ski Pass Travel to cover all three countries. We also have links with local companies for ski gear hire and lessons. We have ski storage facilities at the house and there is ski servicing available within the village for those of you with your own gear. The Kranjska Gora World Cup Super G and Slalom races are hosted here every year in February/March and also in March is the Ski Flying Championship at Planica, just 30 minutes away, which is the longest ski jump in the world and currently holds the world record of 239m, so there is something for spectators too!!

Fishing: Fly fishing in Slovenian rivers is some of the best in the world. Days trips or multiple day-trips can be organised for you, to suit your holiday; a specialist fishing break or to fit in with your family holiday. We have storage for equipment and fly fishing tackle for one person can be borrowed for a single day trip, if you don't want to bring all your tackle just for one day. We are within an hour drive of 3 of the best fishing rivers in Slovenia: Unec, Soca and Sava Bohinjka, and offer a unique chance to fish for 5 species of Trout, huge Grayling in some of the most spectacular scenery imaginable. Mark is available to give free advice on fishing, or transport you to and from rivers and guide you for €75 for one person and €100 for up to 3 people.( Further information is available on our website).

Great hospitality by the owners Mark and Ruth.

We're a couple from Holland, Slovenia is fantastic the whole year; for skiing, for walking, for swimming, for fishing.
For the price, it's very reasonable, the do not count extra for school-holidays.
The apartment is very nice, good kitchen, separate diningroom/livingroom and a good shower.
If you want to have a good holiday for a very good price in a fabulous surroundig, please do not hesitate a call Mark and Ruth or send an email. We wish you a good holiday, greeting from Renate and Geert from Holland

This comfortable, spotless apartment offered the perfect location for our family winter holiday. It is the ideal base from which to explore the ski slopes and sights of the surrounding area. We loved the traditional "pec" in the lounge which not only ensured we were watm at all times but also provided a fabulous drying area for all of our wet ski gear, no cold boots in the morning either. The pizzeria and also the more traditional Slovenian restaurant in the village are both worth a visit and the appartment is very well equipped making self catering a pleasure. Good shop and bakery!
Our toboggan ride in the Tamar Valley will be remembered particularly the mulled wine in the mountai n hut. Mark and Ruth arranged our ski lessons through Koffler Sport and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Ski hire in Kranska Gora very reasonable and exceptionally helpful staff. If the beginners slopes in Kranska Gora are busy, drive five minutes more to Podkoren - it is ideal and it was really quiet.. Bled is an easy and scenic half hour drive from the appartment - it is beautiful. The walk to the waterfall in the village is also fabulous, not to mention the waterfall itself. You have the perfect hosts in mark and Ruth who both have extensive local knowledge and an impressive grasp of the slovenian language. Thank you for a wonderful week, we cannot wait to come back!!
