Photos and Description of this Evian les Bains holiday chalet Character property, refurbished, UK Satellite TV, 2 double en-suite bedrooms.

The original house was built before 1813 and is an old Postal Relay Station. The property for rental is the completely renovated barn for that Postal Relay Station. There are 2 spacious bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms. Single mattresses are available for children. Large lounge / kitchen with American style fridge and all facilities. Master bedroom and lounge / kitchen open directly to the garden. The garden has magnificent views over Lake Geneva to Lausanne. linen and towels are provided at a small charge. UK Satellite and French Terestial TV.

Close enough to Italy to go to Aosta for lunch!! Evian has a Casino with with multiple restaurants ... try your luck!!

Ski Slopes: The nearest Ski Slope is Thollon les Memise. From door to Ski lift takes 15 minutes. Morzine Avoriaz / Portes du Soleil is 50 minutes. Many other ski resorts within about 1 hours drive.

Golf: The Evian Golf club is the home of the 'Evian Masters' a top flight annual ladies tournament. The club is about 10km from the property and apart from the excellent course it offers wonderful views over Lake Geneva (Leman). A great place for lunch or a quiet drink in wonderful surroundings.

Sailing: Sailing on the Lake Geneva (Leman) is a wonderful experience. Yachts and motor boats are available for hire during the summer season. Dinner and other cruises on the lake are available from Le Bouveret (Swiss) about 15 km from the house. Park and sail from St Gingolf around the upper lake and visit Montreaux and Lausanne .... very scenic! Subject to obtaining the correct licence there is good fishing on the lake and the many rivers in the region.

Other Activities: White water rafting and paint balling are about 30 minutes drive.
