A beautifully restored 18th-century French Château located in Normandy, less than 2 hours from Paris by train or 2 1/2 hours by car. The Château is beautifully decorated and updated with all modern amenities. The Château consists of 15 en-suite rooms, a large dining room (there is also a smaller private dining room), a foyer with magnificent chandelier, two comfortable salons, a library with working fireplace. The Château is less than a 15-minute stroll from a quaint French village where one can find locally produced Calvados, pastries, meats, wines and open markets

The Château is located less than 100 miles from Paris and accessible by taxi to a main train line. Other day trips include visiting the D-Day beaches of Normandy, Bayeaux where the famous bayeux Tapestry is housed, and Mont St. Michel a site not to be missed. Centrally located for religious pilgrimages. St. Terese's birthplace is close by as well as important locations of several other saints including St. Joan of Arc. The Nearby village of Courtomer has local Calvados and cider available. Other nearby villages include Sees which has a beautiful Gothic Cathedral seen in the film 'Joan of Arc' along with many local restaurants serving locally sourced food and traditional Normandy dishes. Well situated to enjoy a variety of local fairs and festivals.
