Kinsale Cottage, situated at Westbrook Beach, a Blue Flag beach, on a pristine stretch of coastline on the Dolphin Coast of South Africa, offers visitors a secluded portion of beach on which to enjoy a sun-drenched, fun-filled holiday. The beach is ideal for sunbathing, swimming and for children to spend their days playing in the rock pools. It is also a prime spot for shore angling. Five minutes up the road is the bustling town of Ballito with shops and restaurants for every occasion. The Zimbali Resort boasts two beautifully tropical golf courses. Ten minutes away is the Sibaya Casino and entertainment centre built in traditional Zulu style. The Gateway Theatre of Shopping offers every conceivable form of entertainment and shopping and this too is only 10 minutes from Westbrook.Go game viewing at one of Zululand's magnificent game ranches. Book an organised trip or take a two hour drive up the coast through the sugarcane fields of Kwazulu/Natal to the bushveld of Zululand.

Kinsale Cottage, is situated at Westbrook Beach, 10 minutes from Ballito and 10 minutes from Umhlanga Rocks, north of the city of Durban which has one of the biggest shopping centres in the country, the Gateway. We are on a pristine stretch of coastline on the Dolphin Coast of South Africa with Blue Flag status. Five minutes drive from your front door is Zimbali which has two golf courses and 2 five star hotels. A ten minute walk from the house is the Beach Bistro family restaurant. Dophin spotting launches are taken daily from Ballito and Umhlanga Rocks. In the season whales are spotted frolicking in the sea directly in front of Kinsale cottage. The Gateway Theatre of Shopping experience in the town of Umhlanga, gives visitors all the options of entertainment, eating out and shopping under one roof, and just a ten minute drive from Kinsale Cottage. The new Ushaka International Airport will be within easy access of a 20 minute drive to Kinsale.

  • The master bedroom is ensuite. There is a shower-room and another cloakroom in the northern wing fo the house accessible to the third bedroom next door to the main bedroom. The second bathroom is in the southern wing of the house accessible to the second and fourth bedrooms. There is an outdoor shower for 'rinsing-off' after a day on the beach in the sun and sea.

  • All bedrooms have a stunning sea view out of big picture windows. Lie in bed and watch the waves and on moonlight nights watch the reflection of the moon on the sea. The main bedroom is en suite with built-in cupboards across a full wall. The control panel for the electronic security system is controlled from the main bedroom. All the other bedrooms also have built-in cupboards. The Main bedroom is air-conditioned and the other three bedrooms have overhead fans. All bedrooms have dressing tables, bedside lights and all linen is provided together with continental and standard pillows. A cot is available if necessary.

Notes: There are three veranda's for entertaining and sitting out. Two verandas face the sea, one being enclosed with big double sliding doors and the other adjacent with table and chairs for sitting out on those hot summer evenings. The third veranda is for winter afternoons and catches the afternoon sun.
