Casa SerraMar is located just outside Carvoeiro in a very quiet, private estate. Not overlooked and stunning views down the valley to Portimao and the Sea. It is only 5 minutes from 'the King of Beaches' @ Caneiros Beach near Ferragudo. The villa has a lovely spacious Patio and Garden with a Private Heated Swimming Pool 10x5m. It has a very large lounge with a dining table for 8 persons. a fully fitted out kitchen, dishwasher microwave, fridge/freezer, oven etc. Satellite TV, Playstation & DVD/Video player. the villa sleeps 8-9 persons. 6 upstairs n the main house and 2-3 persons downstairs in the apartment downstairs. the apartment has its own lounge/kitchenette, bathroom, storeroom and twin bedroom - perfect place for the in laws or friends to stay during your holiday. this is a very unique feature of the villa allowing flexibility and practicality and private spaces when required. the patio has a bar area with optics & a gas fired bar-b-q to make life easier. Detached Villa in great location, close to Carvoeiro, but far enough out not to be caught up in the hustle & bustle of the town. on a very private country club estate with fantastic views down the valley to Portimao & the Sea. Nearest beach is 5 mins away by car & is described as 'king of Beaches' as it's one of the best on the Algarve, if not THE best, with a beach bar, fantastic restaurant with the freshest fish served lunch & dinner, double bedded sun beds with canopy's are available. This is a very luxurious place to be. There are about 17 other beaches all within easy reach of the villa. Tennis courts and golf courses are a plenty as well, in fact the villa is just round the corner from Pestana resort - gramacho golf course, seniors qualifying course - Pinta, and a driving range with David Leadbetter golf academy for those wanting a quick lesson. There is a tennis club across the road in Sesmarias village. 5 restaruants all within easy walk of the villa and a local mini market.

  • The villa has three lovely and spacious bedrooms in the main house. the first is the Master bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite bathroom, with toilet, sink, shower, bath, B-Day and dressing table. it has an electric room heater for the winter. lots of wardrobe space too. Bedroom 2 is a twin room with its own bathroom next door. complete with shower, toilet & sink. plenty of wardrobe space. Bedroom three is more private being at the other side of the villa. king size bed, en-suite with shower, toilet, sink and is brand new addition to the villa. in the morning you can sit up in bed and you have a fantastic view down the valley to portimao. bedroom four is downstairs in the seperate apartment. 2 very comfy single beds, and 1 Sofa bed, has its own bathroom with shower, toilet & sink. own lounge with TV, DVD & music. own kitchen with microwave, fridge storage etc. own store room for golf clubs etc. patio doors leading straight out onto poolside patio and bar.

Fantastic Villa

Our second visit to Casa Serra Mar and even better the second time. The Villa is large, comfortable and really well looked after by the owner and the local agent. The patio gets sun all day and the pool is superb. Local restaurants are excellent as are the local golf courses that are only five minutes away by car.

If you want a relaxing holiday with no disturbance or noise, but plenty on the doorstep if you want to venture out this is the place.

So good in fact we have booked to go again for the third year in a row. We couldn't think of anywhere else we would like as much as this villa so why bother. We know we will get a relaxing holiday, great golf and great food. We would recommend this villa to anyone.

And you won't find a better value for money villa anywhere else on the Algarve.

We had a great time at the villa. It is in a good location for golf. beaches and for sightseeing but a car is essential. The villa is very spacious with a good pool and very private.

The local agent and the rest of the staff we met were very friendly and efficient. If we return to carvoeiro we will be sure to stay here again and will be reccommending it to our friends.

The villa is excellent value for money

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Casa SerraMar and wished we could have stayed a month! Everything about it was just right. The villa has everything you could need for a lovely relaxing holiday. It is spacious and very well equipped. The view is fantastic. It was a real bonus to have a lovely private pool of good size and the option for it to be heated which meant it could be used day and evening. The surrounding area is also lovely and the beaches gorgeous. Prior to going away the owner provided excellent instructions and tips to make the most of our stay and provided excellent customer service. The villa is also managed locally so there is a point of contact whilst there if needs be. A car is necessary and there is loads to do and a vast array of restaurants. We ate mainly in Carveiro, a 5 -10 min drive away where there are many lovely restaurants to suit all tastes, but our favourite restaurant was King of Beaches on Caneiros beach. Fantastic to sit outside and look out over the sea whilst enjoying a meal, watching the sun go down and children playing on the beach. As a family with 2 boys (6 and 9) we could not have had a better time and would highly reccommend to all ages.

Lovely, relaxing time!

We were 2 couples staying in the villa for a week at the end of April and it was very nice and relaxing. There was everything we needed for cooking and a great patio for dining. We each got a double room with en-suite which was nicer than sharing.

The pool was great and very private, lovely garden as well with beautiful views down the valley!

The bars at the top of the road are really friendly and pretty cheap! We mostly chose to use the Intermarche supermarket which had plenty to keep us going all week!

Excellent holiday getaway for families and couples

I have holidayed with my husband twice at this villa during springtime and we found this villa perfect. The weather was excellent and hot enough to sunbathe on the beach. The local beach (Caneiros) was so quiet we had it to ourselves most days. The garden and pool of the villa is well kept, clean and private. There are excellent views from the balcony and the sunset is spectacular. There are many places of interest to visit locally and Seville is a great day out and about 2 hrs drive away. The nearest town of Carvoeiro is about a 5 min drive and has a huge selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It also has a wonderful beach. The villa itself is very spacious, clean and welcoming with all the luxuries you need to feel at home. Our third visit to this villa is this summer and we have decided to take our two teenage daughters with us this time. We will continue to visit this villa in the future and hope to find something and somewhere new each time we go.
