Surrounded by a 9 acre olive grove guests will be reluctant to leave the Trullo with its magnificent pool (16 x8 metres) to explore the easily accessible and beautiful coasts of the Adriatic and the Ionian. This stunning trullo offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sitting room and fully equiped kitchen. With two large patio areas, sun and shade can be found at different times of the day which offers the perfect ambiance for alfresco dining. The property is completely fenced giving peace of mind for those with young adventurous children. A complimentary meal of Homemade Lasagne, Salad and Garlic Bread including wine and soft drinks awaits your arrival along with a continental breakfast for the following morning. Although this is a self catering holiday evening meals can be provided on request as can a babysitting service.

Trullo Santana is situated between the towns of San Michele Salentino and Latiano making it ideally located for reaching many towns of Puglia including the unesco site of Alberobello, Ostuni which is known as the white city and Lecce to the South all of which boast magnificent architecture. To make your arrival hassle free we escort guests from Brindisi airport and arrange a meeting point for guests arriving from elsewhere. San Michele Salentino is perfect for day to day shopping, however Auchan and Carrefour are only 15 to 20 minutes away. A wet and wild park, zoo safari and the beautiful limestone caves of Grotte di Castellana make great days out, markets can be found most days in the surrounding towns. Both coasts are easily accessible from here making for a perfect holiday.

Additional information about rental rates

  • No hidden extras, linen, towels, pool/beach towels, electricity, gas, heating or use of air-con and final cleaning all included.
  • Christmas/New Year, Easter and Half-term holiday weeks will be charged at Mid Season rates not Low Season rates.
    A deposit of 25% is required at time of booking and the remainder 8 weeks before the start of the holiday. A security deposit of £500 pounds is payable with the final balance to cover the cost of any damage, this will be refunded on the day of departure after the necessary checks.
    Prices are inclusive of all linen and towels (including pool/beach towels) for a 2 week holiday there will be a full clean and change of linen mid-stay.
  • Arrival at the Trullo after 2pm and departure by 10am, however these times can be negotiable dependant upon other guests arrival and departure times.

Notes: Swimming pool is available from the beginning of May until the end of October. The wood burning stove together with the underfloor heating makes winter breaks perfect, enjoy the sunshine during the day and relax during the evenings in front of the fire. For xmas breaks a christmas tree and decorations give the trullo a magical feel.

First Class Accommodation in Puglia (what a find!)

Approaching Trullo Santana down the long impressive drive, it becomes apparant that a huge renovation project has been completed and the result is stunning, much to the credit of the owners, Sarah and Ant. As a bonus they live nearby and are really helpful and on hand if needed.

The trullo had ample space to accommodate all of our party - 8 adults and is well equipped. All needs are catered for to ensure a relaxing holiday. There is a large supply of pool towels, bath towels, glasses, plates etc. Rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished really well.

The pool is to die for, cleaned daily by Sarah, and much larger than you would expect. We spent most of our evenings in the large outdoor seating and BBQ area - sampling lots of the local food and wine!!

The location of the trullo is pretty much centre of the heal of Italy and is in an ideal point to visit the beautiful surrounding area of Puglia.

There are local shops in the nearby village of San Michele Salentino or an Auchan Supermarket 20 minutes away so supplies are easy to find.

We would highly recommend a visit to Trullo Santana (although we would really like to keep this to ourselves!!) - we will definitely be returning in 2010!

Superb Trullo in a wonderfully peaceful position.

We stayed in this lovely rural Trullo, surrounded by acient olive trees, for a week at the end of May and had a marvellous time, mostly just relaxing by the very large pool.

The Trullo had recently been renovated to a very high standard, but fully retained the traditional Trulli feel. It was really well equiped and comfortably furnished. It's also very spacious (huge in Trulli terms) with plenty of room for a large family for two families to share.

The english owners, Sarah and Ant, who live close by couldn't be more friendly and helpful, they will even provide evening meals if requested, worth a try as Sarah is a great cook!

This Trullo is in a excellent location in central Puglia, with easy access to the beaches of the Adriatic Coast. We also visited some of the many wonderful historic Towns, full of their own charm and character, only a short drive away.

Above all we found It a great place to just take it easy, to enjoy the peace and quiet, and sample plenty of local food and wine - truly La Dolce Vita!
