Outsanding quality accomodation

Our family & friends 4 adults, 4 kids aged 9, 10, 11 and 12 stayed here in October 2009 for a week. We are seasoned travellers and refuse to pay for accommodation that isn’t equal to or better than our own. We were giddy with excitement when we arrived at the villa, it is absolutely out-standing! The villa and the grounds are very well kept, I couldn’t fault the cleanliness. The photographs do not do this villa justice!
We have been to La Cala many times and this is by far the best place. The location is fantastic quiet, residential street only ten minutes walking distance into La Cala.
Each of the four en suite bedrooms are lovely, the bathrooms have under floor heating with walk in showers, the main bedroom with the balcony with the Jacuzzi bath is great, the window to it swivels to allow the user to sit inside or out depending on the mood. It was great being able to plug our ipods (using our own jack) into the integrated speaker system for the rooms and the covered seating area. Each room has a TV with access to a bank of English speaking programmes and films to choose from as well as having Sky TV. We had fun sitting in the cinema room watching the X Factor on the big screen lol.
Kids loved the pool, it was difficult to get them out. It was a bit slippy round the pool and on the outside covered area but once the kids realised this they were fine. The table tennis was well used, it was nice to have an outside activity besides the pool. The BBQ was used a couple of times which allowed us was marvellous lazy evenings outside with a couple of drinks.
A week was definitely too short! It was a pleasure to stay in this villa and I will definitely go back.
Marie was out contact via email, she was always lovely and polite, emailing back promptly each time answering all my questions.
Peter met us at the villa, he is english so no language problems as my Spanish wouldn't get me far! He was very nice and helpful, he was on hand if we had any questions or problems.
I would recommend the Chinese in La Cala, its cheap and cheerful, we couldn't believe the amount of delicious food we got for our money!
We always visit Moochers in Fish Alley, Fuengirolla, not the most glamorous place but outstanding food and the always have live music to enjoy.
If you want to go up market there are plenty of places to choose from.
Last but not least, the golf is great, loads of courses to choose from!
