Villa Angeo is a brand new 3 bedroomed fully air conditioned luxury villa completed October 2008, situated on the outskirts of the traditional village of Karavados. The villa comprises large open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, three double bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms, one double, one twin which share a spacious balcony with magnificent mountain and sea views across to Zante. A family bathroom with shower over bath is also on this floor. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes. The ground floor has another double bedroom which opens directly onto the pool and terrace area and an adjacent bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully fitted with large fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, ceramic hob and built in oven. The attractive lounge with fireplace, TV, DVD, CD, opens out on to the patio area overlooking the large swimming pool and outside shower. All areas around the villa are covered in traditional albanian stone.

Nearest Airport: Karavados at 10 Kilometres
Nearest Ferry: Pessada at 4 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 2 Kilometres
Villa Angeo is situated on the outskirts of Karavados village which is only a 15 minute drive from Kefalonia airport. The cosmopolitan town of Argostoli with its numerous restaurants and shops is also an approximate 15 minutes by car. There is a wonderful walkway along the waterfront and the local market which sells fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables is also situated here. At night the lively main square with its trendy restaurants is the place to be. The nearest beach to the villa (2 km away) is St Thomas with its sandy coves and clear water and Pessada, the ferry port to Zante is also a short distance. Villa Angeo is a few minutes walk away from the local mini market where you can purchase fresh bread, eggs and wine. The town of Peratata approx 3 km distance has a chemist, petrol station, restaurants and a bakery with bread and cakes to die for! Lourdata is another lovely beach only 10 minutes drive away where many tavernas can be found.

Kefalonia is a truly beautiful Island and we believe Villa Angeo is a perfect base for exploring such wonderful places like Fiskardo in the north ( 1.5 hrs drive), Myrtos beach famous for its glorious white coastline, Drogarati cave, Melissani Lake and Antisamos famous for Captain Corellis Mandolin. Another recommended day out is Ithaca, Odysseus's legendary homeland, this island just off the north east coast of Kefalonia is the least spoilt of all the major Ionian islands, with few signs of commercialism. Ferries run daily from Sami and Fiskardo.

Our half term break away from it all!

Myself and my husband spent October half term at Villa Angeo and had a lovely week.
The villa is brand new, very clean and with all the mod cons (a fab power shower!).
The directions to the villa were very clear, we landed in the dark and were at the villa within 20 mins.
We were very pleasantly surprised with the weather as most days it was 25 degrees and sunny ( it was end of October)
It was very peacefull at the Villa all ady and night- we only heard a few goats!
Villa Angeo was a good base to explore the island and we drove to most of the other resorts quite easily- must see Mrytos Bay and go on the ferry to Lixouri.
Would recommed Villa Angeo to my family and friends.

Marvellous Villa Holiday

This was a marvellous villa that provided a superb base for a truly wonderful holiday. The villa had all the facilities and amenities we could possibly need and was beautifully clean when we arrived. The pool was delightful and was cleaned every day! We all enjoyed lounging around the downstairs areas and the patio and pool and eating most meals outdoors. My elderly mother really appreciated the ground floor bedroom and bathroom with walk-in shower. The villa was really well located too for all the sightseeing and travelling that we wanted to do. So thank you for renting it to us for a perfect holiday and we hope we can return one day - and would certainly recommend it to others

Heaven On Earth

The villa was brand new and the facilities were top notch.

We hired the villa as a base to explore the island but I guess we’ll have to come back again next year as the villa was so good we found it difficult to leave. I’ve been in hotels with smaller pools and the barbeque is big enough to cook for the full village (marvellous). The views from the patio are unbelievable.

The villa is ideal for a laid back quiet holiday, there’s no doggies barking and seeing a car go by is almost an event. We Loved it!

The villa was ideally situated only a twenty minutes drive from the airport but we didn’t see a plane for the full stay. The instructions to find the villa were superb.

The local shops were good for every day essentials and the only major supermarket on the island is only a five minute drive away.
The local area has lots of lovely beaches . The local taverna’s were all good there isn’t one in the village but the Enistron is within walking distance.

We're saving up our pennies and will definitely be back.

I, my girlfriend and two other friends we were fine, the house is superb, modern, spacious and clean, the location is very nice, excellent climate and beautiful wild landscape. The car is necessary. The owners are friendly and helpful, and offer an excellent service.
