Fantastic apartment

My wife and I spent a marvelous week in Paris at this apartment. The view is fantastic (the picture in the web page does not do it justice). The apartment is much like its owner... smart, stylish and efficient. The rooms are spacious enough for two to four people; the kitchen is very well laid out; the bedroom also has the same great view and the queen size bed is comfortable. The bathroom actually is bigger than we anticipated with a large shower and tub. It has an efficient clothes washer, which came in handy during our week. long stay.
The apartment is located above the Monoprix, which is a great plus. We were able to buy wine, cheese and other groceries daily. This helped us save money from eating out all the time as we enjoyed several home cooked meals as we watched the sun and shadows set over Paris. Keep in mind that the apartment faces south so you do not get a view of the Eiffel Tower, but we this turned out to be a plus as we were able to enjoy the views of residential Paris that one normally does not see. We also enjoyed many mornings watching Paris come alive over our coffee and pastries from the bakery one block away.
The apartment is an easy 4 minute walk from the Seine River and 10 to 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower. It is also very conveniently located next to the bus lines and metro which we took advantage of. We took the bus the entire time we were there as Stephanie laid out the most convenient routes for us to take. We had easy access to not only the main tourist areas and attractions of Paris, but also other residential parts that tourists normally bypass. It really gave us the best of both worlds and added much flexibility to our Parisan experience.
I searched over a dozen different web sites and in excess of 180 apartments before we selected this. We wanted an apartment that was centrally located (ie, within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower) but not in the middle of the noisy tourist district; one that had a clothes washer, wifi, full kitchen with coffee maker, a bathroom with a large shower, and have some sort of view. This apartment was perfect. We were very happy with our choice and will definitely stay here again.
Why this apartment is not fully booked for the summer is a mystery to me, but I suspect that as word gets out, it will be.
