The complex of three apartments is set in the heart of the medieval village of Montefalco in Umbria. You enter the beautifully renovated apartments through a private entrance reached after crossing the small central courtyard which is shared with the three Arco Romanico apartments. The convenient location, within the city walls of Montefalco, allows visitors to experience both the historic and artistic atmosphere that characterises the site with ample views of the valley below. From the peacefulness of the town, which is also known as the 'Balcony of Umbria', to the splendid tours of cities such as Perugia, Assisi, Foligno, Bevagna, Spello, Trevi and Spoleto, l'Arco Romanico offers visitors the chance to be in the historical centre of Montefalco and, at the same time, a pleasant place to stay while exploring the surrounding area.

The largest of the three Arco Romanico apartments is named after the local artist Benozzo Gozzoli, the apartment has an attractive combined living room, kitchen with a long kitchen bench set along one wall. There is fireplace, comfortable lounge chairs and a glass eight place table. The main bedroom is up a small flight of steps and features a double bed, a large built in double wardrobe, a pretty marble topped dresser, and a small ensuite bathroom with shower. The second bedroom has twin beds and access to the larger main bathroom across the corridor. There is a pleasant long but narrow terrace outside the front door, overlooking the private central courtyard. The floors are covered in original cotto tiles and the walls make use of the stone features of the structure. there is a lovely refined rustic ambiance to the apartments.

Our family holiday (a couple with 1 yr old baby + 2 senior citizens) at apartment Benozzo was very pleasant. The facilities were as advertised: in good condition, attractive, clean, no negative suprises, etc., and the owner was EXTREMELY reliable and helpful.

The location was SUPERB for enjoying Montefalco and experiencing life in town, while exiting town for day excursions was not difficult. During November the apartment was very cozy. However, the common outside garden area would be VERY useful during the warmer months and is more attractive than the photos depict.

Depending upon the price of course, we would definitely stay again at this property or other properties with the same owner.

The apartment and also the whole property was amazing. Beautiful, comfortable and luxurious, as well as sparkling clean. We had travelled throughout Italy for a month and this was the largest shower yet. The kitchen was well equiped, allowing us to prepare the fresh pasta, vegies and cheeses bought at the local shops and market.
The courtyard was a pleasant surprise, as was the pool.
We found the location to be fantastic, as it is central to the other small villages and Umbrian towns. Montefalco itself provides a quiet but rich ambience to experience the flavours of the area. The owners greeted us, guided through the use of the apartment, and provided us with great tips for wine, restaurants and sightseeing. We thoroughly enjoyed our days in Montefalco and in this beautiful apartment.
