Only 5 minutes walk to the local amenities & 5 minutes drive to the beach. Easy to access, this independent villa (120 m2) with its large garden & stunning sea views, is located on the dramatic rocky coastline of Costa Paradiso, Sardinia. The house has a large living/dining room on the ground floor, a medium & a small double bedroom, & a luxury bathroom (with shower). The master bedroom on the first floor has it's own private terrace & luxury bathroom (with bath). The kitchen is well equiped with dishwasher, gas hob & electric oven. There is a utility area with sink, washing machine & washing line. From the living room, sliding doors open on to the main terrace with its olive tree, barbecue & outside table (seats 6) where you can enjoy a unique sunset every night with some local food and wine! A few steps lead down to the pool (50 m2, no shallow end), equipped with 6 sun loungers & outside shower. There is private parking for up to 3 cars, solar panel & air conditioning.

Situated on the North Coast between Castelsardo and Santa Theresa di Gallura, Costa Paradiso is known for the wildness of its land, and for the beauty of the crystalline sea bordered by sandy coves and beaches. All the houses have been designed to fit in with the natural landscape. It's a small tourist village situated at 25 min drive from Isola Rossa (sea front) and from Trinita D’agultu (mountain village), where there is a market every Monday. The local beach, Li Cossi, is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island and can be accessed by a 10 minute walk along the headland. Also discover Costa Tinnari, La Marineda (convenient coved beach with all sport and bar facilities). Ideally located for both airports, Alghero (Ryanair) and Olbia (Easy Jet), the journey takes about 90 minutes by car, along panoramic coastal roads, to reach the marvellous Costa Paradiso and find oneself in a true paradise. The house is well situated as in a private zone, only 5 minutes walk from all shops.

  • To make a booking, 30% of the rent is required.This amount is non-refundable should you cancel the reservation.
    Full payment is required 2 months before the start of your holiday. An additional refundable deposit of 500 Euros against damages will be required. The price includes all linen and towels for use in the villa and one beach towel per person.

  • We open the pool at the beginning of April and close it at the end of October.

  • The Master bedroom on the 1st floor is very bright, with 2 built in wardrobes. A double door opens to the large terrace.The Medium bedroom is situated on the ground floor at the entrance of the house. Both single beds can be put together. One door gives to the front entrance of the house, another door connects with the living room. There is a tall chest of drawers, a mirror and hooks. In the small bedroom, a side bed table that separates both beds, a chest of drawers. The window gives access to the back of the house. The door leads to a hall that distributes to the bathroom, the stair case and the living / dining room. this bedroom is ideal for young children.

Notes: This villa has easy access which is unusual for Costa Paradiso. There is a large garden with many terraces. Visitors with children should bear in mind that the pool has no shallow end and high walls. We will provide fresh bed linen and towels on a weekly basis. Extra cleaning is available on request and needs to be arranged when booking.

Everything you could wish for in a holiday villa. Beautiful location, elegant setting, proximity to all the amenties....and then there's the view.

David & Dominique provided everything I needed to give my family the relaxing, simple holiday we'd been dreaming of. So lovely & private (partially due to the fact that it was low season), we could just enjoy our surroundings without any disturbances.

There are a few restaurants around (though several were closed due to seasonality) which are all of a reasonable standard, though we mostly enjoyed stocking up at the supermarkets and creating our own Italian feasts each night.

Other than relaxing by the pool, we spent our time beach 'hunting', ferrying over to Bonifacio in Corsica, and deep sea fishing out of Isola Rossa. Needless to say, there's plenty to do in the area. But to be perfectly honest, we would have been just as happy lazing by the pool day in and day out....pure bliss.

Villa 'La Sirena', August 2009

We are a family of 5 - (Children 9,12 & 13), who stayed at the villa for two super sun-soaked weeks. The villa was extremely clean, well maintained and well appointed, with everything you could reasonably need. The air conditioning was a real bonus.

The pool was crystal clean when we arrived, and was kept in perfect condition for the duration of our stay by the daily (unobtrusive and 15 minutes) maintenance.

David & Dominique were helpful and supportive from the initial contact right through to the end of our stay. The views from the villa are understated in the photographs - the coast, and especially the sunset, are breathtaking. The beaches close by are family friendly (sheltered and gently sloping sand). The nearby towns of Santa Teresa and Castelsardo ( both half an hours drive from the villa) are each worth a day trip.

Simply one of the best family holidays we've had.

Family Fun In Costa Paradiso

We were a family of seven, six adults and one baby, looking to spend a holiday on Sardinia that would accommodate all of us. It was a necessity that we be within easy access of beaches, shopping and restaurants as well as points of interest to visit. Villa Sirena provided this and more!
The description of the villa was very accurate. We found it clean and inviting and immediately settled in. My daughter, her husband and 11 month old son moving into the mid-sized bedroom which had a crib. My son and his wife moved into the smaller bedroom on the same floor and my husband and I, (lucky us!) moved into the master suite upstairs. We all enjoyed the gorgeous view from the living/dining room which looked out on the lovely patio, below that the pristine pool and beyond down the mountain to the sparkling Mediterrean!
We drove to the market down the street for our first purchase of supplies for breakfast and snacks to keep at the house. After that we almost always walked, particularly to the cafe/bar for a morning cafe latte and chocolate pane! We fell in love with the little community at Costa Paradiso and would recommend staying at this property for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful, quiet and serene beach community that is definitely out of the ordinary.
The owners were very quick to answer any of our questions and we felt they truly cared that we enjoy our stay.
There was no telephone or computer access at the villa but we found we adapted very quicky and didn't miss being cut off from home. My son had a Blackberry for emergency contact which we fortunately didn't need. We didn't even watch TV as we were exhausted by the time we got back every day from the beach, exploring local towns and dinner. Something we found different and quite good on the island was the local use of Mirta/ Myrtle in cooking, sauces and digestivos!
We visited Isola Rossa, Castelsardo and Santa Teresa Di Gallura and enjoyed wandering in each of these towns. My son and his wife left early one morning to travel to Alghero and take the boat ride to the Grotta di Nettuno which they thoroughly enjoyed. We liked walking/hiking the trail to the protected cove and beautiful sandy beach of Costa Paradiso and took out a pontoon boat one day to see the rocky and gorgeous shoreline from the water.
Everything in the description of this villa was accurate and we all really enjoyed our holiday and hope to return soon!
