Casa Venusto is a beautiful fully air conditioned 4 bedroomed villa with an unusually high standard of decor. On one level and with superb views available from its roof terrace, this villa has every credential for a fun-packed, family holiday. The spacious lounge/dining area is off the entrance hallway and there are 3 comfortable sofas with table and 8 chairs for dining, with wood burner for winter lets. For entertainment there is a Samsung LCD TV, with Freesat and DVD player (with small DVD library to suit all ages) and a Phillips CD music system. Patio doors from the lounge/dining area provide access to the pool terrace where there is a purpose built BBQ and sun beds for all to relax in the sun. The pool can be viewed from the comfort of the lounge and has a semi-circular area at one end for small child/baby bathing. Underwater pool lighting creates a fabulous ambience when barbecuing around the terrace in the evening. Seldom is a villa of this standard offered for rental.

Casa Venusto is located only 10 mins walk from the centre of Carvoeiro. There are several restaurants within 10 mins walk but another 5 mins opens up many others for choice.Carvoeiro Beach is just off the square in the centre and there are numerous shops, banks, pharmacies, bars and restaurants in the area. Taxis are plentiful and approx 4 euros from the taxi rank in the Square to the villa. Although a car is not necessary for your nights out in Carvoeiro, one is always recommended to get around to other beaches such as Praia da Marinha, and Albandeira which are around 10 mins drive. Other attractions such as Zoomarine, Aqualand, Slide & Splash are between 10 and 25 mins drive away. The beautiful towns of Silves and Monchique are always worth a visit and they are 15 and 30 mins drive away respectively. The west coast Atlantic seaboard provides some stunning scenery and you can reach this in approx 1 hour by car.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Prices above are for 8 person occupation. If 9th person requested, there will be a small additional charge to cater for utilities. (Baby or child is counted as a person). Air conditioning is included in above prices but a charge of £35 per week will be required if used for heating purposes from 1 Nov - 31 Mar period. Bath towels and linen included as is twice weekly clean by maids.
    Pool heating charged at £125 for first week, £50 each following week. This is because heat pump placed on boost for 3 days prior to guests arrival to ensure the pool is at required swimming temp on arrival, not just switched on then.
    25% of the full amount will be required on booking as a deposit to confirm. The balance plus a £150 Breakages and Damages deposit will be required 2 calendar months prior to arrival. The B&D deposit will be reimbursed by bank transfer within 7 days of guests exit as long as nil B&D.

Notes: Casa Venusto sleeps 8 in total comfort but a cot or a fold up bed can be supplied to make a total of 9. The swimming pool is mosaic tiled and semi-circular at one end to provide a relatively safe bathing area for small children or babies. Sunbeds/mattresses are provided for all. The pool has underwater lighting for those BBQ evenings around the terrace, creating a wonderful ambience. At one side of the pool, there is a table and chairs for shaded relaxation and with full view of the pool, therefore supervision of children is easy. There is also a very handy additional shower room at the side of the villa by the pool terrace. A stairway gives access to the roof terrace with affords fantastic views of Carvoeiro and the sea, and also overlooks the pool terrace. A safety gate is also supplied at the foot to prevent access to wandering children. With a fully fitted large modern kitchen, superbly decorated bedrooms and lounge, this villa deserves its extremely high accolade.

The photos and description don't do this villa justice, it way exceeded my expectations. Recently refurbished to a standard which can only be described as brand new, couldn't fault anything even if we tried to ! Friends that were staying in another villa nearby were literally green with envy when they visited us. Location was good as well, quiet enough to relax in the day, and only a 10 minute walk downhill to the town. Maid service was excellent, thanks Julie. Thanks also to Anne and Peter for the help in booking the villa.
Will definately book this villa on our next visit to Cravoeiro.
