Photos and Description of this San Luis holiday apartment A self-catering 2 bedroom rental with balcony, minutes from the town and beach

A well kept self-catering 2 bedroomed apartment with private balcony close to all the amenities, minutes away from Torrevieja and the beach. The complex is completely secure with a well maintained communal pool and well kept gardens. Great for families, couples and the elderly. Regular bus service outside the complex. From the roof top solarium you can take in the breath taking views of the salt lakes, you also have access to the nature trails along the lakes at the back of the complex. A good variety of bars, restaurants and shops are just a few minutes walk away from the complex.

    - Airport drops offs and pick ups can be arranged either from Alicante of Murcia for approx 40 - 45 euros.

There is also access to the solarium roof but this is not accessible for wheelchairs, here you can take in the breathtaking views of the salt lakes, hang your washing on the lines provided or just sit and relax and top up your tan. Area Information: - Local bus service runs on the hour outside the apartment complex. 15 mins into Torrevieja/15 minutes the nearest beach. - Within the area of San Luis you are minutes away from shops/ bars/ restaurants and supermarkets. - If you have a car you can explore the local markets in Murcia, walk along the beautiful beaches at Guardamar or explore further into the valleys of Rhondda.

We rented this apartment for 10 days during August 2009, and found that it was clean and as described.

We would recommend this for families. There is sufficient room to sleep 5-6 people as there is a pull out sofa bed in addition to the 2 bedrooms.

The pool is well maintained and is very clean. Within walking distance are restaurants and bars, within 5 minutes drive are supermarkets selling all you need for self catering and within 10 minutes is the nearest town of Torrevieja which is a great town for strolling on the beach or for eating out.

The only problem we found was that, even though the apartment has a portable air conditioner in the living area, the night temperature within the apartment often exceeded 28 degrees which, for us, was a little uncomfortable.

All in all, however, we believe this accommodation represents value for money and would recommend to others.
