Holiday on a self-catering basis in our great house in the centre of Bourg d'Oisans. On a quiet chemin, just a minute from one of the town's many boulangeries & restaurants, the house is the perfect place to stay for families or for groups of cyclists and skiers. For families we have cots & high chairs available free of charge, for cyclists & skiers an attached secure garage. The house is on two floors, from the front you enter into a lovely open plan kitchen/diner comfortably seating 8. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, gas hob & fridge/freezer and dishwasher. At the far end of the ground floor is a comfy lounge area with wood burning stove, TV & DVDs. Also on the ground floor is a WC with boot drying space. We also offer free WiFi access. Upstairs three large bedrooms, 2 twins & 1 triple sleep 7 all single beds. One twin has a fold out bed to increase capacity to 8, there are no bunks. All bedrooms have their own en suite shower & bed linen is included in the price.

The house is in a great central location just minutes away from the town centre. The house has retained its charachter with tiled and wooden floors and the bedrooms have been designed to give you plenty of space, for that reason we have limited the number of beds in each of the rooms and we dont have any bunks. The house also has a huge integral secure garage for the safe storage of your bikes and other sports equipment.

Le Bourg d'Oisans is situated in the heart of six valley's on the edge of the Parc National Les Ecrins, the largest of France's 6 National Parks. From the house you are a minutes walk form the town's amenities with it's shops, bars and restaurants, banks and post office, playparks and open air swimming pool. From the house you will be able to appreciate beautiful views of the mountains. A variety of walks from family rambles, to serious hikes start from the front door and for cyclists the infamous 21 bends of Alpe d'Huez need no introduction. The Megavalanche trail for downhill mountain bikers is a short drive away with the lifts open in July and August to the start at the Pic Blanc. The town has excellent links of course to the nearby ski resorts of Alpe d'Huez, Vaujany, Les Deux Alpes.

Lovely house in village location. Great for bus routes up to Alpe D'euz for lots of snowboarding fun.
Picturesque village and good local restaurants and bars to try.
House was newly refurbished but still had the French charm and character. Great place to stay for our short winter break. Owners friendly and welcoming. Thank you.

The house is in a great location for the bus services to Alpe d'Huez and Les2Alpes, we can also provide private uplifts to the resort if you prefer.

We really enjoyed our week at Helen and Phil's property. The house is bright, comfortable and well appointed, and in a fantastic location right in the heart of town. Perfect for those who are undertaking a cycling holiday with storage space for bikes and excellent day rides in/out of Bourg. Helen and Phil offered excellent advice to us both prior to arrival and also during our stay - definitely aiming to return! Thanks.
