Management Company/Welcome Packs/Eating Out:
We have an excellent Management Company looking after our property and the complex on our behalf.The complex manager:Lisa Greene does an excellent job and is on hand should you require anything. We have a gardener who looks after the grounds and cleans the swimming pools on a daily basis. In relation to Welcome Packs our Management Company can also arrange for a Welcome Pack to be left in the property upon your arrival, at an extra charge.This pack would include the basics like water, milk, juice etc. to get you started when you arrive.High chairs and costs can also be provided if necessary.We would recommend the following restaurants: Christos Restaurant-family run restaurant a few minutes away from the complex,Excellent home made cooking.Michaelo's Restaurant-on the way to Kalamaki town,very popular.Ambrosia-on the main Kalamaki strip,great food & inexpensive.Popeye's-on the road to the beach,serves traditional English food.We would also recommend the Cave Bar for a relaxing drink!
Other Facilities/Getting around:
The property is fully fitted with mosquito nets on all windows, along with pull down shutters. The patio area and upstairs balcony has table and chairs with cushions for your convenience and extra comfort.Villa number 14 is the first house on the left hand side as you enter the complex.The entrance into the complex is via 2 secured doors.An intercom is also provided at the entrance for extra security.A safety deposit box is provided in the twin bedroom, and a key safe is also provided for your convenience, both are free of charge.It is very easy to get around either by foot, car, taxi or public transport.Taxis charge 5euro in the area of Kalamaki.The town and beach are within walking distance of the property.Public transport is also available,the nearest bus stop is a couple of minutes away.Public transport is also very good on the island however, if you are interested in hiring a car I can pass you on a company we use who are very competitive.
Air Conditioning:
Due to the very high cost of electricity, there will be an extra charge of €25 per week for air conditioning. This is optional. If you decide you would like air conditioning please inform us at the time of booking, so that we can arrange to have the air conditioning remote controls left in the property for your use. If you do not require air conditioning the remote controls will not be left in the property for the duration of your stay. We would ask that the A/C is not left on for long periods of time, as this causes overloading of the system.
