Great apartment, great location.

This beautiful apartment is exactly as pictured, above a bookshop in a very characterful old building with an incredible view over the street and sqaure. It is small and would be perfect for two, but we four - two adults, a 12 and a 17 year-old managed fine for four days. The sofa-bed in the lounge is bigger than most and very comfortable. There's a sink, fridge and an electric hob tucked away in an alcove - which was more than enough for us, but not really enough to cook in any meaningful sense.
But you really don't need to cook - the apartment is at the foot of the hill of the Rue Mouffetard - a Parisian cobbled street that looks like a film set of a Parisian street with a street market, food and other shops and a huge variety of good value restaurants.
The street is very lively, without being at all threatening, closes down late and starts early. We used ear-plugs to get our 8 hours.
You can walk to Notre Dame, Jardin du Luxembourg, Montparnasse and many other sites. There are easy bus routes(27,47) that take you everywhere and the Metro is 5 minute walk.
We had no problems on arrival or departure. We were made to feel very welcome and were given a lot of useful information. The place was spotlessly clean and in our opinion, very nicely decorated. It's got cable tv and wi-fi internet if you need it.
We'd recommend this apartment to anyone. In fact we already have to several people.
