Casa Fayum is furnished throughout to an extremely high standard offering both privacy and seclusion for a romantic villa holiday but is also an ideal get away for a family wanting a self catering holiday. It is situated in a small picturesque location, Quinta dos Alamos. It is just a 5 minute walk into the center of the village of Guia. The village is home to several typical Portuguese restaurants serving excellent cuisine as well as cafes, small supermarkets, chemist, banks and shops. The coast and beautiful sandy beaches are only a short drive away. It is the perfect place to relax in peace, to use as a base for a golfing holiday, or from which to explore the nearby attractions of the Algarve. For entertainment there is a Playstation 2 console.

Only a 5 minute drive to Albufeira where you can find stunning beaches many cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, chemist supermarkets, newsagents and banks. Casa Fayum is well located for many golf courses, within a 30 minute drive you can visit Vilamour's 5 courses, Quinta do Lago, San Lourenco, Balaia and Salgados which is only a 5 minute drive. All of the Algarve's other courses are within easy reach by car. Zoo Marine, where you can swim with dolphins, Slide and Splash, Crazy World (offering a butterfly house, reptile park, crazy golf and a petting farm) and of course lots of magnificent beaches. Faro Airport is only a 40 minute drive away. Algarve shopping, which is literally a few minutes drive (just outside the village of Guia) is a large shopping center where there are many well known shops, a large food court, Ten Pin Bowling and a multi screen cinema where many films are shown in English.

Outside Area of Casa Faymum: Casa Fayum is set in a private walled garden with private parking and beautiful well kept gardens which over look a large park area. It has a built in Barbecue with grills and tools provided. Private pool with shower area. Table and seating area with 4 sun loungers. Pool size is approximately 11 x 5 m.

Coast and Beach: A 5 minute drive will bring you the the nearest beaches which adorn this part of the Algarve with cafes, water sports, cliff top walks above the small alcoves or long stretches of seashore.

Just back from 10 beautiful days in Casa Fayum. Absolutey lovely villa, very clean & comfortable. Very Peaceful spot and central position on the Algarve makes it idea for exploring both east & west & central Algarve. Easy walking distance to Guia the chicken piri piri capital, and also the Algarve shopping centre. Would throughly recommend this villa, and we shall definately be returning. Car is recommended is you want to explore.
