This spacious bungalow is set in a charming location with beautiful well established gardens and stunning views. There is a large pool with showers and a separate children's section. There is a patio to the front which is equiped for alfresco dining overlooking the beautiful gardens. To the rear there is indoor dining with large windows incorporating french doors where you can relax and watch the wonderful sunsets. The property is well equipped throughout. Excellent kitchen facilities for those requiring a self catering holiday with 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk, a spacious lounge with seating for 6 ,with TV, DVD, and music and a lovely gas fire for those wishing to spend a cosy winters evening in.there are 2 double bedrooms with ample wardrobe space. The windows have shutters and mosquito nets, the bathroom has both bath, shower and washing machine. There is a large under build where there is use of bikes and beach equipment. The property is 5 minutes drive from Moraira.

Moraira: once a small fishing village, Moraira is now a thriving and stylish holiday resort with an abundance of bars, restaurants and classy shops. It has a large marina and three family friendly beaches. There is also a small castle and promenade. During the summer months, there is a small nightly market. Every Friday, there is a large market where you can purchase local produce. Throughout the season, there is a small children's funfair and, on the outskirts of town, you will find a karting track. Generally, Moraira is less populated than the larger resorts down the coast, and offers a more peaceful holidaying option. There are numerous places to visit around the region, including waterfalls, water parks, theme parks, safari parks and a large shopping centre in nearby Javea. Larger resorts within a half hour's drive include Benidorm, Denia, Altea and Calpe, and the airports of Valencia and Alicante are one hour's drive. There is also a ferry crossing from Denia to Ibiza.

Tranquility in Moraira

What a beautiful spot, lush colourful gardens, a lovely view across the valley and a generous pool and sunbathing area for the adults and kids to relax, all within a tranquil, traditional style spanish complex. The property itself did not disappoint either. All very clean and well fitted out with a nice mix of traditional and modern furnishings. The kitchen is very functional with cooker, microwave and plenty of pots and pans for those of you who dont want to sample the many restaurants in or nearby Moraira. Nice to have the DVD player and stereo available as well if you decide to stay in on the odd occassion.
The two double bedrooms are clean and nicely decorated with good wardrobe space. The availability of the leather sofa bed in the living room and a futon in the naya make it really good for those with a larger family/group. Again the bathroom was clean and tidy and also housed a washing machine (useful for freshening up those beach towels!)
The owners have also left a couple of mountain bikes stored in the basement for your use, which I thought was a nice touch.
Moraira is very pretty, we really enjoyed our little walks through the cobbled streets looking in the numerous shops and pausing in the friendly bars. As far as eating out was concerned, there is a wide choice in Moraira itself with a number of stylish spots also on the outskirts along the coast. We would definitely recommend the Olive Tree restaurant which offers a lovely al a carte for one of those special evenings. The Olive tree deli in the centre of town is also really nice for an evening meal as is the Wok Buffet.
There are a few really nice beaches about, the one(s) in Moraira itself, but Xavier and Calpe aren't too far away either. For those of you who want to exert yourselves a bit more you can choose a walk (scramble in parts) up Calpe rock or drive down to Benidorm and brave the waterpark slides.
All in all a lovely holiday in a beautiful location, with plenty of places to visit.
