The Perfect italian Holiday Villa

Set in a miniature arboretum established by the great-uncle of the present owner, Villa Acacia is an island of tranquility in a busy, many faceted community. Le Marche is little known outside Italy, but is a favorite holiday region amongst Italians. They know and appreciate the excellent cuisine and wide variety of local wines, at very affordable prices. The mild Mediterranean climate makes for lazy days and comfortable nights, on many of which the spell binding song of the nightingales can be heard. One can run down to the coast for a day's basking and swimming, followed by a meal of the local catch, or head in the other direction, to the mountains, for walks at all levels of difficulty, from a stroll among meadows full of wild flowers, to a tramp through the high peaks. The Sibilline mountains offer stunning views over the Marche countryside. Alternatively there are a myriad of charming hill towns to explore, each with its own special attraction, and usually at least one great place to eat.
Pleasant days can be spent lazing around the Villa's ample pool and enjoying a delicious al fresco lunch beneath the wide, tiled eaves. The local town of Falerone is well supplied with supermarkets, greengrocers, butchers, bakers and wine makers, so self catering is
very easy. The mild evenings encourage one to linger outside, with a glass of wine, before enjoying dinner in the comfortable dining room.
We rented this house for several consecutive summer holidays and always found it immaculate. Any problem which arose was quickly and courteously resolved. I whole heartedly recomend it to anyone looking for a delighfully different holiday spot.
