It is 4 steps across the warm sand from your evening swim to the small gate at the front of the property. Climb the 10 wooden steps up to the small shower/changing cabana next to spa pool. Wash the salt and sand off, hop in the spa and take in the 180 degree views of Raumati Beach and Kapiti Island. The huge deck and BBQ are perfect for balmy summer nights spent watching the sunset over the Marlborough Sounds. Floor to ceiling glass doors allow the afternoon sun to pour into the large open plan modern kitchen/dining/entertainment area with breakfast bar, formal dining and comfortable lounge seating around the open fireplace. To the rear of the house a separate TV/entertainment lounge. This luxury executive beachfront retreat features: three double bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, both with showers and toilets, one featuring a spa bath. The is also a Studio apartment with double bed and separate on-suite adjacent to the deck. Modern chattels include Sky TV.

Golf: Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club enjoys a long held reputation as the premier links course in New Zealand. Paraparaumu Beach has hosted the New Zealand Open championship on twelve occasions as well as numerous prestigious professional and amateur tournaments. The course was designed in 1949 by former Australian Open champion Alex Russell, the highly acclaimed course architect in partnership with Dr Alistair McKenzie, the world renowned course architect. The course has been widely acclaimed over the years. The great Australian golfer, Peter Thomson - winner of the British Open on five occasions and nine times New Zealand Open champion – when invited to write the foreword for the book written to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of Paraparaumu Beach, had this to say about the course; “ I loved it instantly. We had nothing like it in Australia , which must have struck Alex Russell, who did the layout. Course designing approaches an art form, especially done in a perfect modelling medium like volcanic sand. Russell must have been ecstatic. What was left after his departure was a gem of enjoyment, a monument to the game and a gift to the future. When we all turn to dust, “Paraparaumu” the golf, should be still lying there as it was when the first golfers came by, with Kapiti an off-shore island standing guard to see that no one steals it away. And the winds will ever blow to test the golfer’s will and integrity. Paraparaumu will be famed for a century yet.”

This house is a steal, with wonderful amenities, fantastic architectual design and great proximity to everything, whether it's going to the theatre in downtown Wellington (5 professional theaters) or going to one of the world top 100 golf courses 5 minutes away. This million dollar home has a billion dollar view with the best sunsets possible and the sea only 30 seconds from the property. Wow wow wow!!! Very cheap for this quality. I love it hear.
