The villa is standing in spacious grounds with a mature established garden on a number of tiers. The lounge leads out to the terrace with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. Steps lead down to the swimming pool and patio with sunbeds and umbrellas. The pool is 10x5m and has external Roman steps. At the side of the villa there is a small orchard with lemon, orange and grapefruit trees. The rear garden area contains mature trees and bushes.
The main Coral Bay beach which has been awarded a blue flag is a 5 min stroll from the villa. The Bay has a beautiful sandy beach enclosed on either side by rocky peninsulas. There are 2 cafes/bars, new toilet and shower facilities and sun beds with umbrellas for hire. The weather in Coral Bay is usually lovely and sunny in the Autumn months of October, November and December. In the spring March and April are also very pleasantly warm.
The nearest airport is Paphos, a 30 min drive away. Larnaca airport is 2 hours away. There are many local car hire firms but it is not essential to have a car at this villa if you just want to relax, swim and sunbathe.
Paphos the nearest large town is 8 miles away and there is a frequent bus service to and from Coral Bay. Numerous other local villages and historic sites are within a few miles but a car would be necessary to visit them. Alternatives would be to hire a taxi or to join one of the coach excursions. The Troodos Mountains are a 2 hour drive.
The tourist amenities in Coral Bay include two supermarkets and many restaurants, tavernas and bars with live music and karaoke. There is also a discotheque. A variety of shops selling jewellery, local crafts, spectacles and sun glasses, clothes, shoes and leather goods. There are also 2 banks, a doctor's surgery, a chemist, hairdressers, car hire, taxi hire, travel agents and local excursion providers. Local activities include boat rides, jet skis, parasailing, scuba diving, horse riding and go-karting. Local hotels offer gymnasiums, saunas, tennis, table tennis and squash. Paphos town has a beautiful harbour and castle, a Water Park, an Aquarium, 2 cinemas and many Sites of Antiquity worth visiting. Sea trips along the coast sail from the harbour and many restaurants offer a wide range of cuisines.
Golf:
There are 3 superb golf courses within ¾ hours drive and these are Secret Valley, Tsada and Aphrodite Hills. Club hire and bookings can be made at Coral Bay. There is also mini-golf nearby at an amusement park.
