This is a wonderful villa to rent in Fuerteventura, it is located in the family friendly resort of Caleta De Fuste which offers two lovely golden sand beaches and plenty of family entertainment. This property offers the perfect villa rental if you require your own space but wish to be within walking distance of the town centre and local attractions. The two beaches and town centre are just 10 minutes walk from the villa while the Atlantico centre with its selection of shops, bars and restaurants is only a 10 minute walk away, you will also find the luxury Sheraton Spa hotel here where you can pamper yourself for a few hours. History: The “Gaunches” were the original inhabitants of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands, history believes that the earliest settlement was back in 200 BC. Their origin remains a mystery to this day, some believe they have Egyptian relations due to mummifying corpses while others believe they may be descendents from the lost city of Atlantis which is believed to be close to the Canary Islands. The Guanches worked the land and had a basic lifestyle using very primitive tools with the majority living in caves.

Beaches: Fuerteventura is famed for its many beaches which in total is over 100, these range from the golden sand dunes in Corralejo to the miles of white sand stretching from Costa Calma down to Jandia, and the tiny coves you find dotted all round the island. If you love a beach holiday where all you wish for a sun, sea and secluded beaches then Fuerteventura is definitely for you.

Golf: If you like to play golf while on holiday, Fuerteventura is fast becoming a golfers paradise it now offers two 18 hole PGA golf courses, with the Fuerteventura Golf Course already considered an excellent course after being selected to host the 2004 Spanish Open. Then second 18 hole course Las Salinas is situated next door and has set its target to be the number 1 course on the island. There is a 3rd course in Las Playitas, Tuineje which has been granted PGA golf academy status and offers 18 holes. There are a further two courses planned and in development Puerto Del Rosario Golf and Jandia Golf.
