This is a spacious villa to rent in Fuerteventura. The villa is located in the heart of Caleta de Fuste, a family friendly resort. The villa offers the perfect villa rental experience as it is part of small complex of luxury villas, the complex is on the edge of the town centre within 5 minutes walk of the bars, restaurants and the horse shoe shaped golden sandy beach. The villa has lovely views of the communal pool and landscaped gardens from its private patio area, while the balconies of the villa offer views to the sea. The sea itself is only 100 metres away and along here is a lovely cycle track leading to Caleta’s main beach and continuing along to the Atlantico Shopping centre. Where there a selection of restaurants, bars, main supermarket and another lovely sandy beach with beach bar restaurants.The patio area of the villa is perfectly equipped for the complete al fresco dining experience and to enjoy the all year round canarian sunshine.

History: The “Gaunches” were the original inhabitants of Fuerteventura and the Canary Islands, history believes that the earliest settlement was back in 200 BC. Their origin remains a mystery to this day, some believe they have Egyptian relations due to mummifying corpses while others believe they may be descendents from the lost city of Atlantis which is believed to be close to the Canary Islands. The Guanches worked the land and had a basic lifestyle using very primitive tools with the majority living in caves.

Beaches: Fuerteventura is famed for its many beaches which in total is over 100, these range from the golden sand dunes in Corralejo to the miles of white sand stretching from Costa Calma down to Jandia, and the tiny coves you find dotted all round the island. If you love a beach holiday where all you wish for a sun, sea and secluded beaches then Fuerteventura is definitely for you.

Golf: If you like to play golf while on holiday, Fuerteventura is fast becoming a golfers paradise it now offers two 18 hole PGA golf courses, with the Fuerteventura Golf Course already considered an excellent course after being selected to host the 2004 Spanish Open. Then second 18 hole course Las Salinas is situated next door and has set its target to be the number 1 course on the island. There is a 3rd course in Las Playitas, Tuineje which has been granted PGA golf academy status and offers 18 holes. There are a further two courses planned and in development Puerto Del Rosario Golf and Jandia Golf.
