Osborne House Apartment is located within the historic town precinct of Strathalbyn and is reached via a narrow lane passing several original old stone cottages. Built on three levels and furnished in a Mediterranean style the apartment is fully equipped for your comfort. French doors provide access to the deck and garden - this setting offers an ideal place in which the children can play and adults can relax with a glass of local wine, crusty bread and local virgin olive oil, dukkah or cheese. A chiminea and barbecue ensure this area is always welcoming. It is situated in a large south-facing garden overlooking the Angus river and is within walking distance to shops, restaurants and historic High Street. Guests will be greeted with a bottle of wine and nibbles.

Located 57 kms southeast of Adelaide at the southern end of the Mt Lofty Ranges Strathalbyn is considered to be one of South Australia’s prettiest towns. Settled in the late 1830’s Strathalbyn is well known for it antique shops and numerous restaurants and cafes. Strathalbyn is strategically located to visit the wine growing regions of Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley and international events such as the Tour Down Under. The southern coastal towns of Goolwa, Port Elliot, Middleton and Victor Harbour are within easy reach and offer all seaside pleasures including swimming, surfing, sailing, whale watching and seafood. For nature lovers Warrawong Sanctuary and the world heritage listed Coorong are close by. Ride the Cockle train to Goolwa and explore the seaside village where the Murray River meets the Southern Ocean or drive the produce tourist trails across the Southern Fleurieu. Ride or walk the Alexandrina bikeways or walking trails.
