This villa is one of only 6 sea front Aldeamentos, with stunning views out over the sea. Situated in the pretty cobbled lanes of Vale do Lobo, one of the most prestigious resorts in the Algarve, with golf, tennis & beaches Accommodation: large kingsize bedroom and two twin bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. French doors open out onto the private rear garden, and a south facing sun terrace where you can enjoy views overlooking the sea. The beach is literally one minute's walk away. The location is suitable for young kids or older children looking for a bit of independence, as they can safely walk the pedestrian path to the shops, restaurants, and for the older 'kids', bars. Enjoy the sun roof for private sunbathing, and a first floor balcony overlooking the sea. Maid service, washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ, large under stair storage cupboard, drying racks, sun loungers, sat TV/DVD. Nearest supermarket is 5 minutes, Faro airport 20 mins.

Vale do Lobo is Portugal's best known and largest golf, tennis and beach resort. In an area of outstanding natural beauty with protected grassy reserves, the beaches are outstandingly clean, and stretch for mile upon mile of golden sand with dunes and golden cliffs. A truly year round destination, with three premier golf courses, several tennis centres, spa centre with pool, horse riding, biking, and go-karting to name but a few activities. In the summer enjoy waterskiing, windsurfing, parasailing and sailing. There are so many fabulous restaurants, of varying price ranges, that it is impossible to visit them all in one holiday. 20 minutes from Faro airport, and within easy reach of several excellent shopping centres, cinemas and waterparks.

Additional information about rental rates

  • This house has the one of the best views in Vale do Lobo, being one of only 6 Aldeamentos facing directly onto the sea. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed from the terrace with stunning views out to sea. The location is such that everything you need is within a stone's throw, and a car is not necessary. Teenagers can safely walk home after a night out in the Praca. For younger kids - there is the freedom of a pedestrianised area which is safe for popping down to the shops and beach. Families with very young children will enjoy the convenience of a very short stroll to the beach and kids' facilities, such as the Penguin Club and the mini golf. We have a wonderful maid who will come in for one hour three days per week to make beds, dust and vacuum. She can come for five days per week at a small additional cost. Membership of the pool and club may be purchased through the local agents, on a daily or weekly basis. The main golf course is a five minute walk up the hill.
  • There is also a wonderful children's club, for those with kids under the age of about 9. There is an indoor/outdoor play area with a large kids' pool with sunshade. A daily/weekly charge is made for this, dependent on the age of child and the time of year. For those who don't wish to be endlessly sporty, just enjoy the view from the comfort of your own sunlounger! Wifi is available at the local club. A deposit is required upon booking (30%) with the balance due being payable 10 weeks prior to arrival. A £300 security deposit will be held from two weeks prior to arrival and held until one week after departure, when the property has been inspected. During the winter months, we ask for £25 per week to cover the costs of central heating. There is no local phone as we find most people prefer to use their mobile phones.
  • The house is comfortably equipped with everything you need to enjoy the sun, and games/books for children and adults. We can provide beach towels for a small additional cost. The traditional clay outdoor barbeque is conveniently situated at the side of the house - grill your steaks or fish whilst enjoying the view of the sea!

Golf: Golf is a major attraction to this part of the Algarve - and there are two courses available at Vale do Lobo, the Royal and the Ocean. Quinta do Lago, which is 10 minutes drive away, also has several championship courses.

Tennis: The Vale do Lobo tennis centre offers several different surfaces to play on, together with use of their pool for an hourly fee (upon application). There is also a tennis centre with multiple surfaces available in Quinta do Lago, and also another on the outskirts of Vale do Lobo, also with a pool.

Rental requirement: There is a requirement that there must be at least one adult over the age of 25 present at all times during the rental period.

A beautiful villa in a fantastic location, I have enjoyed many wonderful holidays here. Perfect for tennis players and golfers, with courts and courses within a stones throw. The long sandy beach in front of the villa is stunning, and there is a large choice of excellent restaurants nearby. The property itself is elegantly furnished and well-maintained, I would definitely recommend this villa to anyone.

This traditionally styled and comfortable villa is just as the description says; very close to the beach and other facilities - so ideal for all sorts of holidaymakers from familys with either younger or older children, to a relaxing "girls" getaway spot.

We enjoyed the villa's comforts and the resorts facilities thoroughly! And would have no hesitation in going back - Its close to Faro too!

Villa in a perfect situation

With 3 children aged 7,10 and 12 this villa was absolutely perfect for us and them as, for the very first time, they were able to enjoy a small taste of independence. The villa is situated so near to the shops, restaurants and beach that they were able to go to and from the villa by themselves which they loved! This villa would be absolutely ideal for any family with teenagers/older children as there is no worry about getting home; it is a mere stones throw from all the nightlife. Perfect also for those who do not want to worry about drinking and driving! Yet despite being so near the villa is quiet and with bedrooms set to the back we were not bothered by noise. Whilst not being ultra modern, like some others at the resort, the villa has its own distinct charm and we had a super holiday. We found parking fine and took advantage of the tennis club and pools nearby. Many villas at Vale de Lobo do not have a view of the sea which this does so all in all it got 5/5 for its perfect location; thank you.
