The house is located in a small seaside community called the Golfe de Lava. The Golfe de Lava is a beautiful, sheltered location only about 30 minutes from Ajaccio. This sought after area is a well known for its wonderful beach and relaxed atmosphere as well as the availability of water sports, including sailing, diving, kayaking and wind surfing. The community has all the amenities required for a relaxing and enjoyable break. (shops, creperie, pizzeria/bar and restaurants) The house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with a large 30m2 terrace with great views of the sea and the mountains. (It is about a 7-10 minutes walk to the beach).

The house is located in the Golfe de Lava which is approximately 22 kilometers from Ajaccio on the southwest corner of Corsica. The Golfe de Lava in Corsica is a small community with a wonderful beach which is excellent for families and children. You can hire motor boats, sail boats, winder surfers, kayaks, canoes and jet skis. There are shops for food and drink and a couple of restaurants for excellent local produce. For more excitement you are in easy reach of Ajaccio (20-30 minutes) with its lively port, excellent shopping, restaurants and markets. Also Ajaccio was the birthplace of Napoleon. From Ajaccio you can take a train up the spine of Corsica and visit the Pine and Chestnut forests with beautiful scenery everywhere you look.
