Sexten Sesto:
The town is at 1,310 m above sea level, beside the Natural reserve paradise of Val Fiscalina, a few Km from the Austrian border, 7km from S. Candido, more than 30km away from Cortina’s noisy life.
Sesto, however, has a modern net of paths that extend for 200km, nearby . Long walks through the snow may be enjoyed by those who enjoy cross country skiing as well as by those who enjoy riding wooden sleds pulled by horses and would like a taste of old traditions.
Sesto is identical to how it was one hundred years ago, with its Tyrolese hotels, snow-covered houses and wood substituting cement.

Ski:
Speaking about Sextencertainly means speaking about the love for nature and for sport, away from the noise and from the worldliness. It is a place for whom loves “TO SEE WITHOUT BEEING SEEN.”
The valley of Sexte doesn't almost never create problems of snow for the skiers since it is normally a cold valley that maintains as a rule for long time the snowy mantle preventing to lose it. Enough that few times it snows and here is insured, with a small aid also of the “snow guns”, a long skiing season that goes from end October to Easter.
Other Activities:
Excursions across the border.
