Villa Olivia is a traditional stone house with all the features of a modern and luxury home. The villa is set in a quiet little romantic village just 20 minutes drive from Paphos town. In the village there is a mini market, coffee shops, taverna, bank and post office. From the village square you can follow the lane for about 200 meters to come to villa Olivia. The perfect position of this self catering villa gives the advantage of full privacy and unobstructed village and mountain views around. At the side of the main entrance is the pool with a lot of space around for sun-loungers and chairs. The pool is at a perfect position so that it gets heated by the sun all day long. The temperature is still good to swim at 10:00pm. Inside we have chosen everything to make your summer holiday unforgettable. Split units with both hot and cold air, fly screens on all the bedroom windows, double glazing and warm welcoming look, make Villa Olivia the perfect summer holiday rental for you.

Villa Olivia is built in a quiet spot of Letymou village 15 kilometers from Paphos. The area is mainly agricultural and famous for growing grapes. There are several wine factories which produce both red and white wine from grapes grown locally. Within 5 minutes drive is Tsada Golf Club, an 18 hole course, popular with both residents and tourists. Paphos forest is only 20 minutes away and from there you can drive through the cedar valley and reach the Kykko monastery at Troodos mountains. For those who like the sea can choose between the beaches of either Paphos 20 minutes away, or Polis -the aphrodite's baths 30 minutes. In Paphos town you can visit the Castle at the harbour, the mosaics, the tombs of the Kings, the ancient odeon and many more ancient ruins of the Paphos Kingdom.

My husband & I rented the villa for 1 week in June, we had a wonderful time.

We are frequent travellers but usually stay in luxury hotels, four seasons/hyatt ect so this was our first time renting a private villa, I had my doubts but I have to say I was totally bowled over once we saw the villa. The photos do not do it enough justice.

It was a true "Home from Home", everything you could possibly need, all fresh linen, clean & fluffy towels for everyday, soaps & bath creams. There was plenty of crockery, a bbq, we had a romantic candlelit meal by the pool one evening, the napkins, wine glasses & candles were all there for us to use.

This was the first holiday where we took no washing home!! the villa has a washing machine with soap powder for your use.

It was a fantastic villa with so many perks you would not believe.

There is a clean & comfortable car provided with the villa and they insure you before your arrival, you are collected from the airport and driven to the villa, so theres no stress involved in trying to find it!!

And finally a wonderful welcome pack for when you arrive, it had all the items that you would need for your first day, tea, milk, bread ect.

The villa was situated in a lovely little village, really quiet. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. If you didnt want to drive to paphos there is a great little bar in the village called Brookseys, run by an english couple, great sunday roasts, uk beers, bingo & other sports on sky tv.

We had a fab time and have already booked to go again.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday at the Villa Olivia,the last two weeks in September.
The Villa was very well equipped and clean.The welcome pack was the best we have had.
If you want to see and experience the real Cyprus then this is it.
Marios and Louisa made us very welcome,and we could not fault anything.
We will be back

If you would like to spend your holidays in an authentic Cyprus village, you should rent this villa. It offers all the modern confort and the freshness of a private swimming pool.
It's the ideal starting point for expeditions through the beautifull countryside or to the sea or make the most of the villa and just do nothing.
The owners are nice and helpful.
We spent realy great time in this villa and hope so you will too.

Nous recommandons vivement cette villa à tous ceux qui souhaite rencontrer la convivialité des habitants d'un petit village viticole et profiter de la vraie vie chypriote.

Modernes Ferienhaus in original zypriot. Umgebung

Wer einen Urlaub in origial zypriotischer Umgebung abseits der großen Touristenmassen verbringen möchte, aber gleichzeitig auf die Annehmlichkeiten eines modern und komfortabel eigerichteten Ferienhauses nicht verzichten möchte, sollte einen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus in Erwägung ziehen. Die unmittelbare Umgebung ist dörflich mit nur einem kleinen Laden, den unvermeidlichen Cafes, einer Post und einer neu eröffneten Taverna. Mit dem Auto ist man in 20 Minuten im oberen Paphos (Ktima), wo es überaschend viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Supermärkte etc. gibt und das bislang wenig vom Massentourismus geprägt ist. Wer den Touristenrummel und den Strand liebt, kann ein wenig weiter ins untere Paphos fahren. Für diese Fahrten und für Tagesreisen über die Insel stand uns ein moderner PKW zur Verfügung, der im Mietpreis enthalten war. Das Haus ist geräumig und war bei der Ankunft sehr sauber. Der kleine Garten ist liebevoll angelegt, die Aussicht auf das Troödos-Gebirge ist grandios. Der Pool wurde vom Vermieter regelmäßig gereinigt. Die Vermieter, die in Paphos wohnen, sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und waren jederzeit per Handy erreichbar. Wir haben dort drei sehr entspannte Wochen verbracht. Eine Empfehlung für jeden, der einen Urlaub in authentischer Umgebung verbringen möchte und den gelegentliches Hundegebell und Krähen eines Hahnes nicht gleich aus der Ruhe bringen.
