The House...Interior: ...A large entrance hall with exposed beams and stone walls and terracotta tiled floor opens into a spacious, well appointed kitchen and dining area. The salon features a Napoleon 1st fireplace and the less formal sitting room leads onto a large balcony which has wonderful views over the garden and gently rolling countryside beyond. Also on the ground floor is a double bedroom with a private balcony and an en-suite bathroom...An impressive, wide, original stone staircase leads up to the first floor which contains a large mezzanine with a sofa, 2 double bedrooms (one double converts into two singles beds if required) and a twin bedroom. There is also a large family bathroom which features a bath and separate shower.

The House...Exterior: ...The self-contained, enclosed garden of 1300 square metres, which offers wonderful views and mature trees for additional shade, is accessed via a small lane. The 10x4m 'salt water' swimming pool with roman steps and adjacent shower is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing patio with loungers. The stunning 11x5m covered terrace, contains a changing room, dining area, fridge, sink, food preparation area and a 'big' BBQ.

Private parking area...: for at least two cars

Golf: ...The courses are of a good standard in this area. There are 18 hole courses in Auch (16km), Lectoure (29km) and Eauze (41km). Fleurance (15km) has a very good 9 hole course. All of these courses have restaurants!

Other Activities: hot air ballooning...flights take off only 300 metres from property !

Spent a lovely Easter break at Le Paradis - there is so much to do whilst having a wonderful, relaxing home to stay in. The house has everything you would need and is designed and decorated to an exceptional standard. The garden and pool area were a great place to relax when we were not out walking around the beautiful local countryside or eating out somewhere local. Ian and Margaret were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome - highly recommended !!
