One of two stylish, south facing and well furnished two-bedroom two-bathroom apartments at Les Grimaudieres, a smart modern block of apartments overlooking the River Giscle, behind the security barrier of Port Grimaud Sud. The apartment is on the second floor with access by stairs or lift. There is an open balcony with comfortable chairs for relaxation or outdoor dining. There are cafes, shops and restaurants in the nearby Place Francois Spoerry and the shops, restaurants and other attractions of the main town, are only a few minutes walk. The nearest beach, is a ten minute brisk walk. There is also a one-bedroom apartment on the first floor.

On the beautiful Bay of St Tropez, Port Grimaud is France's Venice - but with easily accessible beaches. Canals wind through the Cite Lacustre, allowing views of the many lovely and colourful houses along the waterfronts. In an area of outstanding natural beauty and with the bustling towns of St Tropez and Ste Maxime nearby, Port Grimaud offers much to the holidaymaker. There are many cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from and weekly markets are held in the town square, the Place du Marche. During the summer season, many water sports are available from the main beach and a huge funfair opens on the way to St Tropez.There are tennis courts for hire, golf courses nearby and riding is available at nearby Grimaud Village. There is also a go-cart track for budding Lewis Hamiltons.

Your journey to Port Grimaud: The nearest airport is Toulon and Ryanair flies there regularly from Stansted. Driving time approximately one hour from touch down. Several carriers fly to Nice. Driving time approximately one and a half hours, once you leave Nice Airport. Marseilles is approximately a two hour drive away. Nearest railway station is Ste Raphael. A taxi service is available for those not renting a car.

Parking: The apartment has a secure designated parking space directly in front of the building.

The apartment: The apartment is on the second floor with lift access. There is a ramp to the entrance hall of the building for those with walking difficulties.

We have been renting one of these apartments for several years and look forward to coming back each time. Much of the easiness is attributable to the apartments.which have lovely second floor master bedrooms with private baths. in addition to a shower downstairs The closet space is excellent in both bedrooms and the air conditioning is unusual in this areaand much appreciated. The terrace is nice for breakfast and an occasional dinner(we prefer to eat out). However,one can hear ones' neighbors and the air conditioning exhaust is there also.
We love the area--the small place near the apartment with our favorite bistro(Armandos),the Sunday market in the grand place, the beach clubs of Pampelonne and the market in St.Tropez. The weather is almost always wonderful--no small feat considering the weather in the Northeastern United States
