The villa is walking distance from the famous 'Strip', the lively centre of one of the Algarve’s most popular family resorts, Praia da Oura, where you’ll find a fantastic assortment of ice-cream parlours, restaurants, street -cafés and small shops. By night the Strip and the Old Town transforms into a buzzing hub of evening activity The Villa is set on two levels and comprises of the following accommodation: Upstairs two twin bedrooms that share a full bathroom and a small lounge. Downstairs the lounge area has an open fireplace and a satellite TV and the dining area is furnished in modern style.There are two bedrooms on this level, a twin with en-suite shower room and a separate WC and also a double with en-suite bathroom.

Tourism transformed this picturesque fishing village into a major holiday resort. There are many good beaches both to the east and west of Albufeira: Praia de Balaia, Praia de Castelo, Praia de Falésia, Praia de Galé, de Olhos d’Água, Praia de Maria Luisa, and Praia de São Rafael, being the main ones. A further addition to the town there is a modern marina. Albufeira is known for it’s sizzling night-life with its many restaurants, bars and clubs open until the small hours.The “Strip” is in the “new town” of Albufeira, this is where the action happens, and this is more up-dated, modernised area of the town. There are bars, night clubs, hotels and a lot of activities.

Amazing position and amazing value

We (my partner and I) took four children 12,14,17,18 not expecting the villa to be as central or and well presented and it seemed in the pictures - well it was amazing! Only a five monute walk from two supermarkets, bars and shops - only 10-15 minutes from the strip (we barely saw the older boys after 10pm) but so quiet and the facilities of the villa and the pool were fantastic (the other two didnt really want to leave the poolside the whole holiday). For adults the old town with all it's beach, shops, bars and restaurants was only 15-20 minutes walk away (and the outdoor escalators were a great was to avoid too many steps to get from the clifftop down to the old town itself.
Weather wise - well it was hot enough for me at 20-24 celcius most days and even on the overcast day a bus ride to slide and splash meant that this was an amazing week away especially for early april.
I have already recommended it to several other people and if i were looking for the same thing again would have no hesitation in booking tomorrow.
