Blanes beach is just 5 mins away by car or Bus. There are lots of beautiful coves along the coast including several nudist beaches. The nearest airport is Girona just 30 mins away by car. Barcelona airport is about 1 hour away, depending on traffic. There is an hourly bus service to and from Blanes, just 2 minutes up the road. Residencial Blanes is situated just 5 mins drive from the tranquil resort of Blanes. In the centre of Blanes and the tourist area (Los Pinos) you can find all the night life your heart desires, knowing you can leave all that noise behind and return to the more tranquil area of your Villa. Golf course is just 5 mins away. Blanes (where your Villa is located) is truly a gem of the Costa Brava.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A non refundable 500 euros deposit is required to secure a booking, only on receipt of this will the booking be blocked. A 500 euros refundable damage deposit is required. The rest of the rental and the refundable damage deposit must be paid on arrival.
    You must have the entire amount due on arrival, otherwise you will not gain entry to the Villa.
    The refundable damage deposit will be returned by Bank transfer no later than 10 days after departure after deduction for heating (if required) and any incurred damages.
    Only renters named on the booking will have access to the property, unless otherwise agreed with owner.
    There is an end cleaning fee of 80 € for the Villa and will be deducted from your deposit.
  • Young adults are welcome, however this is a residential area and you must adhere to the no excessive noise late at night rule.

Things to do and see: Water World a very large aquatic park is very near, as is Marineland with their Dolfin shows and great water park, a wonderful day out for all the family, a free bus service is offered from the bus station. Blanes, hosts the yearly fireworks festival the last 2 weeks of July. Sand castle competitions, Foam Canons, Dancing and many more events, all for free. A must see extravaganza. The villa is just 30 mins from Gerona Airport, just 10 mins from the main auto route and 5 minutes to the nearest beach this is a perfect starting point to explore Catalonia and enjoy some authentic Spanish culture. There is a very good professional pitch 'n' putt course nearby. The location is ideal for a trip, by car, train or bus to Barcelona with its zoo, historic buildings, parks and cathedral designed by the artist Gaudi. Gerona is of historic interest as is Figueres, where the Dali museum is housed. The Botanical Gardens at Blanes are famous and a must see venue.

This villa was rented out by 7 of us, all young males, and this was by far the best holiday we have ever had as a group. Sheila the landlady was very helpful and friendly throughout the booking process, and this continued right up until our last day at the villa. The house rules were explained very clearly upon our arrival, and after that we were left alone, unless we called Sheila for any reason. The villa is nice and cool if you keep it all closed up during the day, and the bedrooms are all clean, tidy and spacious enough, and the bathrooms and villa as a whole was immaculate when we arrived. The locals keep themselves to themselves and no one interferes with your stay. The pool and barbeque area were both very nice, and our only slight complaint was how grumpy the poolman was!! Also perhaps worth considering is the local cockerels, which seem to spend 22 hours a day screaming, this did at times make it very difficult to sleep! A car is almost essential to your stay here, as it is very difficult getting shopping back to the villa, and lloret de mar is a 20 euro cab journey away. If you want somewhere which is clean and tidy, with a lovely private pool in a quiet, peaceful residential area a short drive away from lloret de mar with a lovely landlady, then this is the place for you!!
