Situated in the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Peak Cottage overlooks the picturesque village of Little Haven, with its delightful sandy beach less than 100 metres away, making it ideal for all water sports. The area offers superb cliff walks, giving visitors the opportunity to observe its fabulous wildlife. Little Haven boasts three pubs, a cafe, a fish restaurant, and pottery and craft shops. The cottage has spectacular sea views. It sleeps four, with one twin bedroom and en-suite shower, one double bedroom, and one family shower room. The living/dining area features a log burner, making it perfect for a winter as well as a summer break. The property's private garden and BBQ area overlook the bay and enjoy spectacular sea views . Heating: electric central heating. Electricity charged according to use. Facilities include: electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine/tumble dryer, flat screen TV, DVD and CD players. Sorry, no pets.

The biggest attraction of Pembrokeshire is the countryside itself, particularly the coast. All around there are clean sandy beaches, most safe for bathing. All along the coast there are amazing rock formations, a gemologist's dream. In addition to the spectacular 200 mile stretch of National Park coastline with its countless coves and golden beaches, local activities include coastal and deep sea fishing, sailing, boat trips to the off shore islands, canoeing, cycling, diving, golf, riding centres, surfing and coasteering. Local attractions include the Torch Theatre, Milford Haven, Blackpool Mill caves and cafe at Canaston Bridge, Bosherston Lily Ponds near Pembroke, Caldy Island off Tenby, the Dinosaur Park near Tenby and Oakwood Leisure Park. Visitors flock to St. David's, the smallest city in the British Isles, as they did in the Middle Ages, when it was a place of pilgrimage. The Cathedral and ruins of the Bishop's Palace form the most historic and revered buildings in Wales.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Payment: Bookings made within 8 weeks of your holiday date must be paid for in full. For a booking made more than 8 weeks before your holiday starts we require a deposit of 50% of the total rent. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the holiday starting date.
    Balance Payment: Upon payment of the deposit and subject to the acceptance of the booking, the applicant becomes liable for the balance of the rent 8 weeks before the period of letting.
    Damage Deposit: A security deposit of £80 must be forwarded with the deposit, refundable after satisfactory inspection.
  • Occupation Times: The property will become available to the hirer after 3 pm on the commencement date of the tenancy and terminate at 10 am on the termination date to allow sufficient time for cleaning.
    Damage: All bookings are accepted on the condition that the property is left clean and tidy and breakage and/or damage will be paid for by the person who made the booking.
    Access: The property owner or representative shall be allowed access to the holiday accommodation at any reasonable time during any holiday occupancy.
    Pets: Pets are not allowed.
    Linen: Bed linen, sheets and pillowcases are provided.
    Towels and tea towels are not provided
  • Cancellation: If you have to cancel your reservation you must telephone Jane Wheatcroft on the number shown on your booking confirmation as soon as the reason for the cancellation occurs. You must also confirm your cancellation in writing within 10 working days. The day we receive your telephone notification of cancellation is the date on which your reservation is cancelled.
    In the event of the applicant wishing to cancel the arrangements prior to the commencement of the letting, we will endeavour to re-let the property for the period concerned. If such a re-letting can be arranged, the balance, if already paid, will be refunded less a charge for any additional expenses.
    The deposit will not be refunded.

Great seaside holiday

Lovely quiet village with a good beach on your doorstep. The waves were perfect for the children to boogie board. Beautiful part of the country - much less busy than Cornwall or Devon. Within easy reach of Marloes Sands and Barafundle Bay. Lots to see and do including horse riding on the beach, and a water park when the weather isn't so good. The cottage is cosy and the view from the garden is wonderful. I would highly recommend it, though perhaps not to people with mobility issues as there is a short walk uphill to get to the cottage.

The cottage is realy nice, beautifuly decorated and sparkly clean. Especially I loved its modern bathrooms and lovely garden. We enjoyed great sea views while having cups of tea on the garden. There are very nice pubs near by, where we had great local sea food!!! We also enjoyed nice coast walks and fishing. What a great time we had! Customer service was very good as well. I would recommend this place.

The property is in an excellent location to explore Pembrokshire (from Fishguard, to St. Davids, Skomer and Tenby everything is in good reach by car). Spectacular view to the sea and exciting for children to play on the beach. The cottage has everything you need for a recreative holiday.
