One bedroom apartment with stunning views, sleeps up to four people.

LEMONTREE APARTMENT: a modern self-catering first floor apartment, available for holiday rental, in the holiday town of Kas, ten minutes walk from the sea, the shops, restaurants and cafes. The living room has stunning panoramic views over two bays. French windows open onto a large south-facing balcony overlooking the town and the sea and mountains. The beautiful fitted kitchen has marble worktops and mosaic tiles, a cooking hob, a fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. There are twin beds in the bedroom, and two single beds in the main living area. This sleeping space can be curtained off at night for privacy. The marble bathroom has a shower cubicle and no bath.

TRANSFERS to Kas from Dalaman or Antalya airports can be arranged through our local agent.

The apartment is five minute's walk from the town centre, ten minutes from the harbour and nearest beach.

15 minutes by boat takes you to the beach at Limonaza, or get a dolmus (shared taxi) to a 12 km sandy beach at Patara, complete with ampitheatre. Day boat trips are available to visit the sunken city of Kekova (see photos).

The pointer on the google map is correct but the street name at this point on the map is incorrect - it says it's Koza Sk but it is still Likya Cd. There are no houses visible behind our apartment, only mountains.

  • The bathroom has mirrored walls, tiled floor, marble washbasin and shelves, a western WC and a shower cubicle. There are several towel rails. White bathroom towels are provided, as well as big coloured towels you can take to the beach. Next to the bathroom a large cupboard contains practical equipment: vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board (in the bedroom), things for washing clothes, drying racks (on the balcony).

  • Two people can sleep in the bedroom. A further two people can sleep in the living area. The daytime seating converts into two twin beds at night. The sleeping area can then be curtained off from the dining and kitchen areas, using the big floor-to ceiling curtains. The bedroom has a back balcony overlooking trees and mountains, providing a shady place to sit outdoors in the middle of the day. For storage, there is a wardrobe, drawers in the bedbases, and a bedside table/trunk. The main room has several cupboards. A full range of bedding is available in with spare blankets in the main room cupboards. The TV screen can play DVDs, but does not receive live TV (no aerial) For beach or bedtime reading, we have left a selection of novels to read in English, plus guidebooks, walking books and notes for guests.

Notes: There is a flight of stone steps (through the bougainvillea) up to the apartment. Young children would need to be supervised. The apartment would not be suitable if you have difficulty climbing steps. The large front balcony has a dining table and chairs for eating outdoors. Clothes can be dried on the folding dryers.

TRANSFER FROM DALAMAN AIRPORT: Kas is 2 hours by car from Dalaman Airport. You can take a taxi from the airport or you can arrange a cheaper, more comfortable, air conditioned car transfer through our local agents. The cost is about £65, but varies according to the price of petrol and the exchange rate.

If your flight arrives at Dalaman in the morning or early afternoon, you can get the taxi to the bus station, and then bus from Dalaman bus station. This takes four hours but the bus only costs about £15 including a short taxi ride from the airport to Dalaman bus station.

Our agents can also arrange transfers to and from Antalya airport.

Beautful apartment

I have stayed in this apartment many times now, both on my own and with family.It's a beautiful apartment and love the balcony with views over the town and sea.I time my evening meal so I can eat with the sunset over the peninsula. It is 10 minutes walk to the village centre and harbour. The apartment has everything I need - and not too much.I love cooking in the kitchen, find the beds comfortable, both those in the bedroom and in the living room area. I always find it clean. Every time I go there are new books, and luckily it has a TV and DVD player available but no TV channels or wi-fi. If I need wifi, I go and sit outside the council building on the main road into Kas - there is also an cafe nearby, Kuyto Cafe. The Turkish red wine is good. I enjoy listening to the tortoises and chickens from the back balcony as I look up the mountain. A special place in my heart.

Magnificent

I stayed two weeks with two other friends in this beautiful appartment and could not get away from the balcony. The apartment is central, easy to walk to the centre of the village, very well equiped, great kitchen, comfortable beds in the bedroom and in the living room as well. I can recommend without any hesitation this great place, clean, airy, modern, super for four persons. Lots of books, TV and cd available (no tv stations available), no wi-fi but a fantastic little internet cafe very close by, Kuyto Cafe, or from outside the council building. The apartment is exactly like the photos are showing: a view on the sea and the village. We saw great sunsets to photograph, bought nice red wine to sip while watching the landscape, breakfast each morning on the balcony, nice neighbors and chickens in the back to throw our leftovers. Bref, un magnifique séjour.

Very well appointed apartment with fantastic views over the town, which is only five minutes walk away.

The steep steps to the apartment and the hill down into the town didn't bother us, but might be a negative for some. Equally the road outside the apartment is occasionally noisy during the day, but it quietened down in the evening and our enjoyment was not affected.

Kas is beautifully situated and had retained much of its charm, despite the concessions to tourism. It still has a genuine Turkish feel (unlike OluDenez and Kalkan).

Our was a walking holiday and we liked the fact that we could start and finish decent walks from our front door, including the Phellos walk, where we took a taxi out into the hills and walked back to the town. We also liked 'big pebble' beach with its resident duck.

Beautiful apartment in Kas

I stayed in the apartment in may 2010 and i liked it very much! The apartment is quiet, clean and absolutely nice. The view from the balcony in the living room is great, you look over Kas, you see the sea, the mountains and the peninsula. Also the apartment is close to everything: beach, bakery, supermarket , bus station and bars are in walking distance! I felt like at home in this lovely apartment and want to come back another time.

Better than expected. Simple, looks smaller on pics but don't feel it, very well located (5 min. walking distance to downtown & harbour & bus station + supermarkets), quiet area (downtown and hotels area are busy by night)... full information about town, activities, trips, etc. provided within the flat, fully equiped with the essentials...
I highly recommend it!
