The apartment was very clean and in an excellence position. Specially enjoyed eating out on the Balcony watching the world go by. People renting should be aware that this is in a bustling area of the town, although this didn't effect our enjoyment of the week we spent there. Also, the Apartment would benefit from Air conditioning.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Wendy's right to say the apartment is in the heart of the old town and therefore not the place for a recluse, particularly in August. Perfect though for those wanting to soak up the charm of Villefranche! We're looking into installing unobtrusive aircon and have purchased a fan.

Grand wee apartment

We've just come back from a week in this apartment and had a great time. It's very central but also very private, is handy for the beach, the local station and bus stop and has everything that you'll need for a great holiday, from a large fridge, to store your rose', to a parasol to keep the sun from scorching you when you daunder down to the beach.
Villefranche is a lovely place, too, and the apartment is close to several very nice restaurants, as well as a local shop (though if you're stocking up for the duration go into the Super U in Beaulieu) and the Banette boulangerie.
Rent this flat, it's a great base from which to have a great time (and Laure, who looks after it, is lovely and very helpful).
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
Owner's Response: Ross and his partner were dream guests who I'd be delighted to let the apartment to again and who I'd thoroughly recommend to other property owners.

Perfect French traditional / chic flat

Thank you very much to the owners of this apartment for a fantastic stay!
The location of the flat is great - just a few steps from the front of the port, and a really cute view from the balcony of the Rue de l'Eglise. Everything in the flat was spotless and is ideal for couples that prefer the chic, traditional, cosy feel as oposed to cold, hard and modern hotels! the train station is 5mins walk, and 10mins on train to Monaco - so easy!
Villefranche restaurants are fantastic and the Beluga Bar is great for a drink afterwards...
Thank you to Laure as well, who made our arrival and departure hassle free, and such a huge help with transport advice and anything else we needed!
So sad to be back in the UK, already looking forward to booking again!
