Photos and Description of this Pula - Medulin area holiday apartment Only 10 kms from the prettiest beaches in Istria.

This apartment is part of a family home with an on-site Konoba and 17ft by 10ft by 4ft deep Swimming pool. It will sleep one couple in a double bedroom, and 2 others in a further double bedroom, plus a separate bathroom, and through a connecting hallway to a kitchen / lounge where there is a sofa bed for one or two more children. This is a very well equipped apartment with satellite TV, wireless high speed connection for internet and air conditioning. In the kitchen you will find all the cutlery and crockery and equipment you need including a microwave! The owners have decorated throughout in a modern, tasteful way. Outside, there is ample parking, a garden and a 'konoba' (Istrian word meaning family restaurant or food / alcohol producing place!) where the owner makes different 'rakia' (Grappa) for your tasting pleasure and where, next to the pool, you can use the barbecue / fireplace for outdoor dining.

When you enter this small village just 2 kilometres from Barban you feel as though you are entering a family farmstead. Just four or five houses make up this quiet hideaway. Barban and all the local shops and restaurants are just a very quick drive up the road and you are only 10 minutes drive from some of the loveliest beaches in the area.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We require a 18% deposit to secure the booking, payable either by Bank Transfer or Credit card, with the balance payable on arrival either by Credit Card or in Cash.
    The invoiced amount must be in Kuna (the local currency). If payment is made in Euros or British pounds, the exchange rate will be the Hypo Alpe Adria Bank mid rate as quoted on the day of receipt (less any commission charged)
  • Prices include PDV (VAT) but Local Tourist taxes and Registration are additional items and will be shown separately on the invoice.
    Local Tourist taxes range from 2 kuna (approx 27 cents) to 4 kunas (approx 55 cents) per adult per night depending on the season. Children under 12 years old pay no taxes, Children between 12 and 18 years old pay half rate taxes.
    The One-off Registration fee is 30 kuna (approx 4 euros) per person
  • We can offer a range of Food Starter Packs ranging from just the basics (eg Coffee, Tea. Milk, Bread, Butter, Wine and Beer perhaps) to a full shopping service. Just let us know what you might want and we can advise of the cost, purchase the items on the day of arrival and add them to your bill.
