La Peyriere is situated in its own 30 acres of rural countryside, yet a short distance to towns with their weekly markets, supermarkets and excellent restaurants.The nearest towns are Duras, Marmande and Monsegur. Bergerac airport is 45 mins drive by car and Bordeaux airport 75 mins drive. The property has been restored keeping the character of the original French farmhouse and combining all comforts of modern living. The house benefits from 4 double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It has a total of 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. La Peyriere is beautifully and comfortably furnished to accommodate family living for up to 12 people. The swimming pool area has its own fully equipped kitchen, wc and covered outdoor dining area with BBQ. The house has a pretty garden, with lawns, shrubs and a lake. There are many delightful walks to explore in the surrounding countryside. There is a separate games room for children with its own TV and video and also a table tennis table.

La Peyriere is located in the Lot-et-Gardonne area near its border with the Dordogne in the south west of France. There are two nearby villages for day-to-day shopping each with a butcher, baker etc. Sightly further away are the market towns of Duras, Monsegur and Marmande. The area is known for its unspoilt countryside and charming towns and villages with their local markets There is an abundance of sporting activities such as golfing, canoeing, fishing, horse riding and flying in the area.
