This all wood free standing chalet has been recently built. It is spacious, comfortable and is situated in the village of Montalbert La Plagne, one of the charming satellite villages of La Plagne. This is a convenient self catering chalet centering around a large double height sitting room with open plan kitchen, a log burning fire and huge windows reveal stunning uninterrupted views across the valley. There are three double bedrooms (two with double beds, one with a single bed and a bunk bed) and a mezzanine floor with three singles. The dining area seats up to 10, there are two bathrooms and a laundry room. The chalet is a maximum 5 minutes walk from the ski lift accessing the 400 odd kilometers of high altitude pistes of the Paradiski area - a truly massive area encompassing the La Plagne ski area and that of Les Arcs. Located in Montalbert, a quaint satellite village of La Plagne, this chalet is situated in the vast ski area called Paradiski - the second largest in Europe. La Plagne is easily accessed from the N 90 and is located 200 km (1 hr 50 mins) from Geneva and (2 hrs and 15 mins) from Lyon airports. It is 30 minutes from Bourg St Maurice, the nearest station where the infamous snow train stops. La Plagne offers some of the finest skiing in europe. Now linked with Les Arcs, the resulting Paradiski area offers over 400km of high altitude skiing suitable for families, boarders and off piste hounds alike. The chalet is car accessible and being only 20 mins from the N90 offers quick access to other world class resorts like Val D`Isere, Meribel, Courchivel and Chamonix. Montalbert itself has its own ski school, thereby offering ideal surroundings for an easy and hassle free family holiday.

Ski details: This chalet is managed by a local agent. All enquiries, after initial contact with the owner, will be handled with them. The agents deal with all cleaning of the chalet and the provision of linen and towels. This is a property designed for ski holidays and is perfectly set up for them. The village of Montalbert is tucked just below the main resort of La Plagne and benefits from a much more traditional feel while being fully linked in to the entire network. The village itself is fully self sufficient, having its own ski school, shops, restaurants and bars.

Transfer from Airport: We are able to arrange transfer from the airports via a local operator who has a fixed rate for Chalet Les Arrolles - details available on booking. Montalbert is a car-free village and it is possible to stay for the week without needing a car.

This chalet has a great vibe yet works very well even when it is full. This is partly due to the layout- a very practical bathroom arrangement ,a small yet functional and well equipped kitchen, which is alongside the cosy open plan living area. It was very clean and well presented with beautiful views in a quiet and picturesque location. It was handy for the slopes and the shops. I was really charmed by how friendly and helpful everyone was in the village, as well as pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced lessons and ski hire were.I am planning to return as soon as possible with my family.
