Welcome to relaxation and tranquility at Finca 'El Olivo Grande' in Coin where you will be instantly charmed upon arrival. A wonderful house for a perfect family holiday. A large inviting salt water pool is surrounded by a beautiful lawn, with all the possibilities for playing and relaxing. The big terrace with outdoor kitchen and barbecue is ideal for enjoying family meals, with stunning views of the mountains. The house has a large colourful garden with beautiful plants & fruit trees. The exceptionally charming villa was built in true Andalusian style. The villa has two bedrooms in the main house and two bathrooms. The adjoining annex has three bedrooms with one bathroom. 'El Olivo Grande' is situated in the valley of the charming town Coín in the hills behind the Costa del Sol about 35 minutes from Marbella, beaches and Malaga Airport. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. This lovely villa gives you the best of everything; peace & relaxation close to all amenities.

Coín has become a centre in the Guadalhorce valley. The town itself still has the charm of the typical Andalusian villages but it also boasts a brand new shopping mall with a supermarket, restaurants, a gym and a cinema complex. There are numerous restaurants in and around town to discover. You're within easy reach of historic Ronda, the El Chorro Gorge, the classic city Málaga with the Picasso Museum and, of course, Marbella with its old world charm, shopping and beaches. Sevilla, Granada and Córdoba are 2.5 hours drive away. Horse riding, walking, tennis and many excellent golf courses are all close-by.

  • The villa has two bedrooms in the main house and two bathrooms. Upstairs in the living room is a loft which can be prepared with two spare beds if necessary when with a large group or two families with children, increasing your sleeping capacity to 6 people in the main house. The loft is only suitable for children of 9 years and older. The smaller house, the annex, has its own entrance and separate kitchen, with three bedrooms and one bathroom, making 'El Olivo Grande' ideal for two families on holiday together. Two bedrooms have double beds and a balcony and the other bedroom has one bed, which is 110 cm wide. This annex apartment has capacity for 5 people. A baby cot is available as well.

Notes: The kitchen is designed for entertaining, with plenty of counter space, and everything you would need to prepare gourmet meals. You will find all the entertainment equipment you need, such as TV, satellite and video player. In the dining area you are able to seat 6-8 people. The villa is air-conditioned and you also have under floor heating in the bathroom, should you need it. The terrace is very large and overlooks a gorgeous pool, with a children’s pool attached on the end. There are plenty of sun beds, chairs and tables making this villa the perfect place for families to holiday together. BBQ outside, and dine al fresco while watching the children play. The property manager lives 'next door' so you can ask for any help or advice you need during your stay.

My stay at Casa olivio Grande was excellent me and my family enjoyed our holliday during for two weeks in 2005 and two weeks in 2006.
Despite the heat that lasted for a view days from a wind blowing from Africa that was like 43 degrees centigrade the place was cool and nice because of the green grass and trees some with fruit and lots of shade.
During middays when it's too much you can shelter in the house with nice airconditioned and fix some food and drinks or watch a movie.
In the evening we enjoyed the view from the terrace and the visit to Coin and some times we met some of the nice neighbors staying uphill.
There is more but you have to discover yourself.

having used this site for many years we have quite a lot of experience.
This is the best pool we have ever had! Views of the mountains and campo from the villa or superb. So quiet and peaceful yet only 5 mins from Coin...ideal!
Saskia was extremely attentive and immediately resolved any issues..athough there were none of any significance.
The villa is unusual in its design..but we loved that and its character and charm. Great villa, great value, great holiday..thank you! Totally recommended.
