Location, location, location! This luxury apartment is situated in arguably the best location of Courchevel 1850: the picturesque tree lined area of Jardin Alpin. Being centered in between two pistes the apartment offers ski-in ski-out access to the slopes. In addition the Jardin Alpin bubble and Etoiles drag lift are no further then 35m away making its location very hard to beat. Our privately owned apartment is located in the same building as the well known 4* Deluxe Byblos Hotel, though not interconnected. So why not treat yourself to a relaxing massage or facial in the Byblos' spa? The 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom 62 m2 apartment comfortably sleeps 6 and is fully furnished. Each of the bedrooms have their own east facing balcony. The living room has floor to ceiling glass doors opening up to a south facing balcony to enjoy the sun and view on the slopes. It has all the luxury you expect from a Courchevel 1850 apartment.

Our apartment is located in Courchevel 1850, the highest of the four Courchevel resorts. It is situated in the picturesque tree lined Jardin Alpin area. It is in a quiet yet extremely central location. Being centered in between the Etoilles and Verdons pistes the apartment enjoys ski-in ski-out access to the slopes. The Jardin Alpin bubble and Etoiles drag lift are only 35 m. away. The bubble brings you up the mountain or down into the village until 20:00 h. The drag lift brings you up to the nursery slopes. All the slopes surrounding our apartment are green pistes. Therefore it is a perfect location for children and beginner skiers too. If shopping is your thing then the luxury Byblos Hotel shopping arcade, Louis Vuitton and Dior shops are all a short stroll away. It is a 100m walk to the Ski Set ski hire shop which is opposite the bubble. There is a ski room and private ski locker.

Notes: The kitchen is fully equipped and has a 4 ring ceramic hob, Nespresso coffee machine, microwave, oven and dishwasher. The lounge is decorated in warm colors has a sofa and double sofa bed, a large wooden dining table for family meals, a Bang & Olufsen flat screen TV with international TV channels and DVD player, a selection of recent multi-lingual DVD’s, a Playstation 2 for the kids, complimentary WiFi broadband Internet access, board games and books. The lounge benefits from a south facing balcony and floor to ceiling glass windows offering stunning uninterrupted views of the mountain peaks and slopes. In the evening it offers a magical view of the flood lit trees surrounding the building! On the ground floor there is a ski-room and private ski-locker. Parking spaces in front of the building are free and widely available. An underground parking space can be rented for a surcharge.

This is an extremely well-appointed apartment, more roomy than usually found in French ski-resorts. There are two bathrooms, both with near-full size baths and excellent showers. The owner had "gone the extra mile" to make us welcome, with little touches like a bottle of champagne on arrival, luxury toiletries and sending a welcome pack of resort information ahead of time. The TV is top of the range (though we couldn't get the volume adjustment right) and there is a good selection of DVDs and PS2 games. The balcony is perfectly situated, south-facing overloking a clearing in the trees, and not overlooked by any surrounding property. Though some distance from the town centre (and consequently very peaceful), it is only 2 mins walk to the second station of the Jardin Alpin bubble which runs until 7.45pm. We had a car and were therefore glad of the plentiful private free parking. The ski locker room in the basement is very comfortable, warm and spacious. It's only 20 paces from the exit of the building on to the piste, and you can ski back literally to the door. It is not cheap, but neither is it over-priced for Courchevel 1850. We thought it worth every penny, and would definitely return given the opportunity.

We had a marvellous time at the apartment. The accommodation was terrific both in terms of comfort and being right on the piste. The views from the sitting room balcony were stunning. We ate many meals in the apartment and the kitchen was very well stocked with the necessary equipment. The bedrooms were very comfortable and warm. We would wholeheartedly recommend this luxury apartment and cannot wait to come back!

Perfect location, lovely property

After having spent 2 weeks in this lovely apartment during Christmas 2008 we can highly advise the apartment. The location of the apartment is very good: ski-in ski-out and next to the cable car. We arrived by car and hardly used it during the 2 weeks. The Jardin Alpin area is a lovely tree-lined area with beautiful chalets, quiet yet extremely central. The interior of the apartment is finished to a high standard and looks the way you want a ski apartment to look. We especially appreciated all the little touches. You can really feel that Liliane & Michael (the owners) want you to you to have a great time in their apartment. A nice bonus is the fact that it is possible to enjoy the 5* Byblos Hotel's facilities. We took the kids to swim in its pool and treated ourselves to its breakfast buffet. Not exactly cheap but a nice added bonus. We also enjoyed that the ski hire shop is in the same building as the apartment. They warm your boots for you and put your ski gear outside every morning. Finally when the weather was bad we really liked the fact that there were lots of DVD's to watch and for the kids a Playstation to play with. All this added up to this apartment standing out of the crowd compared to the other apartments we previously stayed in. We will defenitely return.
