Camaiore is a quiet and lazy old town of roman origin at the foots of the appenines and marble mountains. Twenty minutes away from the fashionable beaches of la Versilia. Many tourist attractions nearby: Pisa, Lucca, not far from Florence (60 minutes car drive), Pietrasanta, Portovenere and Lerici.
A prefered spot by artists, writers and film directors as still unspoilt by mass tourism.
Off the beaten track Tuscany, Camaiore adds to it's mediaeval churches, roman remains, the proximity to important historic towns such as Lucca, Pietrasanta or Pisa, the vicinity to the sea. For a perfect and relaxing holiday. Many good restaurants in the area offer the visitor a taste of local Tuscan recipies and good wines.
