FANTASTIC!

We stayed at this beautiful apartment for a week in April 2009. Our only other holiday in Portugal was to the Algarve a few years ago. However, Sao Martinho is much more the 'real' Portugal. We loved the area and found plenty to do. We hired a car and visited lots of different places. The visitors book in the apartment was very useful for finding our way around and recommending places to go. It's full of information about Sao Martinho and the surrounding area. There were so many restaurants within walking distance, we were spoilt for choice! In fact, it's an ideal place to stay for a complete 'chill out' holiday. The apartment itself is clean and bright, very well equipped, had comfortable beds, beautiful views etc. In fact, a real home from home. The owner was most helpful and informative; a pleasure to deal with. We are looking forward to returning to this lovely apartment next year. We cannot recommend it highly enough.
