A beautiful, spacious, air conditioned 1bedroom apartment overlooking the warm blue Mediterranean Sea and the sweeping bay of Mojacar,this is a romantic setting for two people people looking for the perfect holiday. The large sun terrace has a retractable sun canopy and a side roller screen for added privacy when sunbathing, there are 2 sun loungers and a table and 4 chairs and it is an ideal setting for sunbathing, relaxing and entertaining. For added comfort there are mosquito screens to the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The apartment is ideally situated for the beach and lovely promenade with local cafes and bars, Mojacar has a wonderful selection of good and varied resturants both Spanish and international all within walking distance of the apartment. The small complex enjoys the use of a large swimming pool.The local shopping area is within walking distance and has a selection of small intimate shops selling shoes,bags,jewellery,art work and clothes. Mojacar is an ancient village in a privileged location: perched on the lower slopes of the Sierra Cabrera mountains, overlooking the Mediterranean coastline of the Costa de Almeria and 98 kilometres from the main city of Almeria. It has been inhabited by many different cultures throughout history. Currently popular as a prime Mediterranean tourist resort, the surrounding area offers much more. Local activities include: Swimming ,Ski-surfing, Golfing, Cycling, Horse-riding, Water sports, Para-gliding, Diving,Sailing, Fishing, Wind-surfing, Walking, Mountain-biking. The old village of Mojacar has a charm of it's own with narrow cobbled streets & has a local market on a Wednesday morning, there is also a market on a friday morning in Garrucha and saturday in Vera, both of these markets can be reached quite easily by either local bus or self drive. There is also an Aqua-park in nearby Vera. At Mini Hollywood in Tabernas one can relive the old westerns of Clint Eastwood including photos.

My wife and I had two weeks in this apartment in august 2008. The apartment was lovely to enter and was very clean and comfortable, especially when we first went out on the terrace for the first time and saw the lovely view of the sea front and the blue mediterranean sea.We thought it was a lovely apartment with a very well equiped kitchen and english tv with all the comforts of home, we really made use of the sun beds on the large terrace, and the swimming pool area. The beach which is just across the road is the best stretch of sand in the area. We loved Mojacar and have just booked for christmas, and will be booking again for the summer. Many thanks to the owners for the welcome bottle of wine and information about the,restaurants,bars, & places of interest, etc.
