Set in the Ropa valley location, the villa is a new bungalow style Corfiot house ('Cathedral Ceilings'). The Villa has its own 9 x 4 metre infinity swimming pool and a sun patio equipped with sunbeds and umbrella. The Villa has been built, furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It has central heating for cooler evenings. Gardens landscaped with many fruit and olive trees. 15 minutes from Corfu Airport. 10 minutes from West Coast sandy beaches and golf course. Only 5 minutes to Aqualand (Water Theme Park). Maid service once a week.

Near the village of Agios Ioannis, the villa is set in a lovely valley location with its abundant wildlife, the villa is in a central spot with easy access to all resorts and facilities on both the West and East coasts. Nearest beach is at the resort of Ermones, 6.5kms, and it is an easy quiet drive to superb beaches of Glyfada, Paleokastritsa (with its monastery) Pelekas, Aghois Gordis whilst further away are the resorts of Gouvia, Dassia, Ipsos and the north. Near to the golf course and Aqualand water park. Nearby is historic Corfu Town which has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and historic attractions. Local shops including a supermarket within 2 km.

In the lounge there's a 32in flat screen tv with Sky Freeview, a PS2 with a selection of games and dvds. Outside you will find a large garden table with a large umbrella and a lawned area also.Covered veranda. 'beach chairs' are sun-loungers. By the pool there's an outdoor shower. Grounds are wheelchair accessible, access to dwelling via one step. There is lighting around the pool and the garden for evening and outdoor dining. Use of gents and ladies cycles. Washing machine is located within attached utility area. Selection of reading books. Fireplace is for decorative purposes only. Villa is linked to that adjacent via the utility room.

Super villa with marvellous pool

We stayed here in early July 2009 and had a lovely time. The highlight for us was the pool, set in its own grounds with loungers, available shade and lots of privacy. The villa is in what we felt was an ideal location because it was quiet & private yet an easy drive to Corfu town, Glyfada beach, Paleokastritsa and many other places. Very well equipped, modern furnishings, excellent en-suite and a veranda/loggia with table and chairs next to the pool where we ate every meal outside but in the shade. The weather helped the experience, 10 days of constant sun, but overall it was an excellent holiday.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Excellent Holiday Rental

The villa was an excellent choice as the location was quiet - no rowdy revellers! Very central location good for beaches, Corfu Town and other resorts. Having the pool was a real bonus especially for cooling off! All was well looked after by a lovely English couple who couldn't do enough for us. Most enjoyed hiring a boat from Kalami for a day. Enjoyed a lovely meal watching the sun go down at Sunset Restaurant in Kivni Nr Angelocastro. Would definately recommend the villa to friends.

A perfect retreat.

Tucked away in a very quiet location yet only a two minute drive from a village bar, a local shop that stocks everything and with Corfu Golf Club only 10 minutes away this was the perfect retreat. The Villa had everthing we needed and was maintained to a very high standard throughout. The kitchen had everthing that was needed, the lounge was very comfortable, and the outside space with its own pool was simply ideal. Having visited Corfu each year for the last 8 years but always choosing to stay in good quality hotels we have now been converted, and have already booked the same Villa for two weeks next year. A car is essential, however, to drive on near empty roads is not a chore. Try renting a boat to get a different view of this beautiful island from the sea, and visit the taverna's that are dotted along the coastline. The most reliable and convenient boat rental is based on the beach at Dassia, just a 15 minute drive from the Villa.
We have been more than happy to have recommended this Villa to several of our friends and we look forward to our next two weeks.
